RE: Is it worth it?

My 1989 27 ft with 454 now has 119000 miles and runs great. It certainly does not need a valve job.
I love her. Solid built and handles easy.

RE: Wind so strong vent lids under cover almost ripped off!

I left Twin Cities in MN three days ago and soon as I was out of the Metro headed West the winds started....(I usually take I 35 south but wanted to try the two lane highways)
Yesterday afternoon almost to Yankton SD my arms were hurting and worn out....mile after mile of corn fields and gusting winds from every direction...(Yes, why no warnings put out !)
By some miracle I saw a small town and sign (Freeman) and I pulled off...then saw a "City Park" sign and drove another 2 blocks and saw a sign that said "Campground".
I am in heaven this morning....a small very nice campground (6 sites with level concrete pads for only $6.00) .....my dog, Uri woke me up at 6 am so he could go out.....
The wind has died down and after another cup of coffee I am getting back on highway #81 and heading south all the way down to Texas.Cool story bro!
Texas is fantastic this time of year!
Joe.......I am a lady (Widow Woman) traveling with my dog)
