RE: 2004 Coachman Leprechaun Converter Location

I swapped mine for something more advanced. I snuck the pendant out under that vent cover.

RE: 2004 Coachman Leprechaun Converter Location

In my 2001 Lep. it's buried under the kitchen cabinet just to the left of the refrigerator. I removed what looks like a household cold-air return cover and there it was.

RE: Why don't more families "motorhome" vs "travel trailer"?

We've had our class C since our sone was about 1; he's 8 now. If I had the truck, a trailer would have been a no-brainer. But I don't need a truck as a daily commuter and we love trips the MH. :)

RE: Re-sealing a 2005 Minnie roof

I have some rolls of Eternabond on their way to me right now. When they arrive, I'll be up on the roof for a few days. I plan on removing all the old caulk and starting fresh.

RE: Leaking Valve Extension

Just this week I went in to a shop and paid them to swap out the rubber valve stems for metal ones. The rubber valve stems seem to come loose on me; NFG.

RE: fiberglass house exterior: best remover of black streaks?

Just this week, I used a spray solution of Simple Green and the black streaks came off with almost no effort.

RE: Thoughts on this...

So, stick this on the back of my rig, you say?
So let me see how this will work. While driving down the road I see that you have left your TV antenna up. I maneuver my MH next to yours, have my wife hang out the window so she can scan your QR code. Then she goes to the computer and looks up your RV.net profile and sends you a message. Next time you check your messages on RV.net you will see that you left your antenna up and can put it down.
Yep, that's a perfect solution to the problem. ;)
Oh, Steve, it's so funny how you used sarcasm to point out how you missed the sarcasm. ;)

RE: Thoughts on this...

That QR code is a link to my RV.net profile, and zazzle.com will print up big, round bumper stickers at ~$6.50 for a sheet of 20.
I could stick something like this on it, too:

RE: Soft copy of owners manual

I see your USB stick idea, and raise you a:
I have all my manuals in my free Evernote account.
Now, I have access at any computer, my phone and the iPad. I can also share with somebody else if I need to. :)I'll see your Evernote and toss in the aforementioned material, and raise you a complete set of 'D' Size drawings for use at home, as well as an identical set of 'B' Size drawings, folded and in a zippered 3-ring binder carried on-board (the USB stick is in there also). All in...
I fold. :D

RE: Dropped on Jack antenna. Seems very nice.

Me curious how you turn the Jack antenna now if you didnt use the crank up assy.
The jack swivels head on the base via a dial inside the RV. It's very simple, clean and elegant.

My experience thus far with the signal meter is limited. But, it seemed to do the trick.

RE: Bed rail?

At that age, we brought a "pack 'n play" and that became the bed. Worked super.
TIP: Look for one of the square square ones. They fit better in RVs.

RE: Running generator in MH while driving

The engine alternator will charge your batteries (that run the inverter that powers the fridge) .
I don't think the OP mentioned having an inverter feeding the fridge.

RE: I joined a cult - the Mac computer owners cult

1. It's been called the Finder for many years; before MS created an app called Explorer.
2. I'm wondering what it is you are doing to cause that. Files go where you put them, just like on your previous computer.
3. Are you importing photos into iPhoto? If so, it should be pretty simple and straight-forward. If you're not, what exactly are you doing?
4. Agreed; most Apple support folks are very personable.
5. That they are. Not always, but generally.
6. The U in USB stands for universal, so I'm puzzled as to why a cable would make a difference. Now, there are some older printers that no longer work with MacOS 10.6+, but that's another (annoying) issue.
7. I think you'll become used to it and find the OLD way very futile in very short order. :)
8. I'll take it! :D
9. Yep!
10. iPhoto is very user friendly and works well for most folks.
11. Yes you can. iTunes will import and play.WAV files. It will also convert them to AAC or MP3 for you if you'd like. I'd also suggest you install Perian.
:)

RE: Dropped on Jack antenna. Seems very nice.

I am very please with my Jack antenna. I also mounted it "backwards" actual "sidewise" to cover up the old hole
Do you leave the blue "nigh-lights" on all the time???
Funny you mention the "night lights," because that's the first thing I thought of when I saw them. :D
