RE: Battery Tender

I still need to check the spec on my converter. May be this weekend before I can get to it. Thanks for all the replies and advice. I will update soon!

RE: Battery Tender

Kendall,
They are both 12V. I would have to check on the converter specs. So it is ok just to plug in the TT and not use the BT?

Battery Tender

I recently replaced one worn out (or sulfated 12 V) battery on my travel trailer with two new ones this past summer. In the past I have generally just left the TT plugged in all winter and added water to the cells as needed. But this year I am thinking of maybe using a Battery Tender to keep them charged. Should I remove them from the TT or can I hook it up to them in place. If the latter, can I keep the two wired together and hooked to the TT and then attach the tender to just one and have both charge together? Sorry for all the questions....I really am ignorant about the BT.

Yosemite

Any ideas on good places to camp (class C) around Yosemite at the end of October?" No kids, prefer wooded, secluded, quiet.

RE: ANY SUGGESTIONS?

You know, I thought about a horse trailer with living quarters. I actually have horses and have a trailer without LQ. That certainly is a thought!

RE: ANY SUGGESTIONS?

Thanks for all the responses! The Outback would be great if the door were wider and the weight capacity were larger.

RE: ANY SUGGESTIONS?

The Outback has a separate garage and I think it is 26'. But it only has a 56" side-load opening

RE: ANY SUGGESTIONS?

I really do not want anything that long. As We spend most of our time outside, a lot of inside amenities are not needed.

ANY SUGGESTIONS?

I currently have a Rockwood Ultralight TT. Over the last several years I have taken it to a number of places where I really wish I had my Polaris Ranger to explore the surrounding areas. Anyone know of any Toy Haulers in the 26' range, separate garage with fold down beds, preferably side loading with door at least 60" wide, heavy duty weight load specs. Prefer bumper pull but would consider 5-er. Not asking too much, eh?
