RE: New truck bed clearance

I would hope I have 6k or more, GVW is 13k. I'll get the axle info. this weekend. Not sure I want to tackle this one myself. Something about jacking up my beast and getting under it in my driveway is not the most comforting thought.
I checked with a good fab/hitch shop in Glendale that's been there forever. They quoted me $600.00 over the phone, that sound like a decent price? Sounds fair to me.
Going rate is 2 hundy per axle but that can be negotiated

RE: New truck bed clearance

I have two heavy duty jack stands and two high reach floor jacks at work but I don't have a concrete driveway and my asphalt one is certainly not flat/level, that's the part that scares me the most.
Plus a friend's father-in-law died when his motorhome fell on him while under it and it was cribbed up on cross stacked 2x4's; that always sticks in my mind.
Thats why the $350 OTD for mine was a good choice. I got plenty to do without that job and it doesn't sound like a lot of fun.

RE: Where to go in to look at toy haulers in California?

How did you find this place? Did you look online and found your ragen then go look at it? or did you go there and found it when you saw it? Im Looking online at the site and looks like they have tons to look at. Just wondering if the online inventory is accurate.
Yeah they have tons of stock, they have moved to a bigger lot since I was up that way. They are huge.

Just an internet find, I'm pretty close so we made a few trips up just looking till we came across the Ragen and it fit everything we wanted.
They had some newer and bigger trailers, this one just fit and financially was a good decision.

FunCars is like a RV show they have about every brand model toy hauler out there. At least a good place to figure out what you want.

RE: Where to go in to look at toy haulers in California?

They sell new and used most used are repo's. Keep in mind, when you look at the repo's they are as is when brought in. Mine was in pretty good shape, fairly clean but when we picked it up the trailer looked like new. New battery's every detail taken care of, and its been flawless since.
Price wise hard to beat. And they got a ton of trailers in stock.

RE: New truck bed clearance

I have my hitch and pin at max and flipped the axle's, I can go anywhere with no worries. My trailer has more tail swing and had close calls with the tail dragging. Ragen's sit pretty low.
I do have my truck level'd and that give's you a little more clearance on the far back top rails.

RE: Good Deal on a Leftover Toyhauler

If the dealer is paying flooring on it, the realistic four year old price he can get and the cost of keeping it in inventory those years may soon be close to equal. Of course, if he finds a sucker and tells them it really is new and should be priced thereof then he will come out ahead.
For a little over $30K there is a 2010 new TT Fusion toyhauler in Reno at one of the shows this month that had the generator, fuel station and very nice. It is a buyers market so you should be able to get what you want if you look around. I would not purchase a toy hauler without a generator.
Same here I use my little honda often but wouldn't think of going without the big one.

RE: Friends of Oceano Dunes & Kevin Rice go on the offensive

Some counties in Arizona are using OHV dust as a means to stop/limit riding. I wonder how they are going to access a fine or demand for God/nature to cease those "hoboob's" which blew sand thousands of feet in the air and covered entire cities. People living by the beach crying about blowing sand makes about as much sense as Arizona trying to stop blowing sand. We all know it's just the anti-OHV crowd using any means to stop our recreation. I hope Kevin can find a judge with common sense who is not in the pocket of the environmentalist.
We had a OHV park that was very close to a go here, Sierra club was all behind it till they got their miles of walking path's and got foot hills closed down. THEN the dust story came out and killed the project.

RE: Just Ordered Stealth RG3210

Find a campground near the dealer and do a test night in it before you haul it back home.
