RE: Too early to dewinterize?

Sounds like you have all the bases covered for enjoying an unusual late winter camping trip. The question comes what do you do when you get home? Inside storage? Empty all tanks and again add anti freeze? Or? INMHO that's the dilemma.

RE: Flyfishing in and around Yosemite

We stayed at the Grizzly RV Park just outside of the west entrance. Fly fished the Madison and lots of other places. There are turn offs and designated parking places all of which were marked along the streams. Licenses off the park at fly shops. Good advice on what the fish are hitting. Check out the forum on National Parks. Happy fishing!

RE: Spring Training, Cactus League

Had a yen to go to Spring Training a couple of years ago. Debated taking the RV out of winter storage and decided to do this. Signed up for a Royals Spring Training package deal that included air fair, hotel, 2 games and a chance to have an on field meet with players, GM and coaches. Worked for us winter climate folks.

RE: Difference in Minnie and Minnie Winnie

We had a Minnie Winne back in '95. If I recall there was a DL designation put to it. Could your answer to the difference be in what equipment and options were included?

RE: Buy a new C, park it, then big trip?

A lot could go wrong. Plumbing and electric systems need to be tested by using after a long winter's nap. That's the voice of experience. Bought a used unit in January and winterized it. Maiden voyage proved to be filled with unanticipated problems.

RE: Atchinson, Kansas

Check the road conditions before deciding on a park to camp in. The Missouri is still flooding the roads to St. Joe. Lewis and Clark State Park just over the bridge in Missouri is closed because its flooded. Tough times in Northeast Kansas and Northwest MO.
