RE: Class A motor home vs. car for trip out west

We feel that the cost is about even by the time you pay for hotels and eating all meals out. We will always take the MH regardless of the cost of gas.
We also like being able to sleep in our own CLEAN bed every night!

New to Medicare, need help please

I am getting ready to sign up for Medicare next month for the first time. My wife will be retiring in Sept. and we plan to do some traveling in our MH. I was wondering what you folks that are out there doing it use for a Medicare Supplement and Plan D coverage.
Have you had problems with coverage when outside your home state?
Any pros or cons with your plans? Any help is appreciated.
Thanks,
Bob

RE: Walsenburg To Durango Colorado on Hghy 160??

We made the reverse trip in June from Durango to Walsenburg and on to Colorado Springs in a 35 foot class A towing a Suzuki Grand Vatara. You shouldn't have any problems, just watch the downhill sections. Slow down and enjoy the view, which is beautiful. Have a safe trip.
