RE: Rear camera will not go up or down

Contact RV Cams, they have been a good resource for Weldex products.

RE: 2007 dolphin lx 6367

Well, our current Dolphin is our third, what else can I say. Well, if NRV was still in business, I would buy again.

RE: Satellite dish choice

My friend just went thru a similar experience. He was told by a "tech" that his King Dome would need to be replaced for dish network to work. BTW we are also in "Q". Instead of spending the $1000.00 for a new dome, he opted for the $29.99 offer by direct TV to switch from dish network to them. He got this offer thru a guy in the big tent. They came out and had him up and running in less then 10 minutes. He couldn't be happier.
I suspect a lot of "Salesmanship" going on here, Dish Net reception is a programing change, not a chang-out.

RE: Replacements for defective Shurflo 5.7 pumps

Because they are free....he has received 8 years of warranty on one pump purchase....
Sorry, life is too short to have that many failurers, time and effort down the drain.

RE: Slideout Power Question

Since it appears your slide-outs run off power from the chassis battery, mine does also, you probably have a problem with your 12V system. While I am not familiar with your system, my system will recharge the chassis battery, once the coach batteries are fully charged.

I'm sorry, but with the miserable record, why are sticking with Shurflo?

RE: Winegard Minimax Satellite Antenna

Depending which satellite the viewing station is beamed from, you could be partially blocked by trees. Dish uses satellites at 110, 119 and 129 degrees.
I believe your 211 owner's manual should have section containing aiming angles for your location. Use a cheap magnetic compass to check for objects in your line of sight.
Trees are the biggest enemy of roof mounted domes.

RE: Which Satellite Dish

Found my answer, on DishNet, neither Winegard nor Dish want you to use a receiver with two tuners or a hard drive.
thanks

RE: Which Satellite Dish

My gripe is that with all the bells and whistles, none of these new portable units will allow me to view and record programs on two different satellites . . .
Our Dish 722 receiver allows us to view and record with inputs from two different satellites simultaneously.
We currently use a portable Dish Pro 500 with two LNB's, I would like to find a easy solution for easy set-up without spend $$$ on a Winegard Traveler.
You'll need a Dish 500 Pro Plus and a Dish Pro Plus Separator. Note: Your VIP722 will work with this separator even though it's not included in the list of receivers. See page 2 of the install.
A Dish Pro twin LNB will not work -- must be Dish Pro Plus . . .
Sorry, I am using the "Plus" unit, looking for a good automatic portable that will have the same multi-satellite capabilities.

RE: RV Manufacturers that don't read their own web sties

Hey, why should they proof read the info, after all they want is for the site to "Look Good".
Serious buyers always struggle for correct information, even at the dealerships.

RE: First time buyer question

Everyone wants to talk power and torque.
If you and the DW are not EXTREMELY happy with the interior, pass. You will be spending much more time "Living" in the coach, than driving it.

RE: Which Satellite Dish

My gripe is that with all the bells and whistles, none of these new portable units will allow me to view and record programs on two different satellites.
The Winegard Carryout states you can hook-up two receivers, that's fine, if the programs you want to view and record are on the same satellite.
Our Dish 722 receiver allows us to view and record with inputs from two different satellites simultaneously.
We currently use a portable Dish Pro 500 with two LNB's, I would like to find a easy solution for easy set-up without spend $$$ on a Winegard Traveler.
Thoughts?

RE: W24 wet hubs?

When the rubber center plug is removed and used for filling, it cannot be overserviced. The knurled plug is used for draining, not filling.

RE: Blue Ox "Aladdin" tow bar, a bit difficult to disconnect

Just try turning the wheels to the stopping point in one direction, I don't recall which way, but one way or the other will free things up to release the levers. Moving the car is not necessary, believe it or not.
This is my method, usually one pin will be loose, remove it, turn the toad steering in either direction to losten the other.
I never use any pin that cannot be key locked, never worry about some clown playing with the set-up.

RE: Changing old swivel chair for recliner????

Lazy Boy makes a very nice small recliner that is perfect size for RVs, yet is a residential recliner. It can be modified by the company to swivel also. I am setting on one, as I type this.
X2, love my Harbor Town recliner from LB, get the swivel added, worth every penny.

RE: permanent mailing address

When our mail forwarding gets messed-up is always the USPS. We have all our important items sent to our mail service on a permanent basis, sure has cured a lot of important documents dissapearing into never never land.
