My brother has $105 (or close) taken out of his SS for medicare part A and B. I didn't know they did that? So we have to get supplemental plus pay over $100 a month too, which he says keeps going up.

lisa, at the top of the reply page you will see different icons. click on the little world icon and a box pops up, it will ask for the complete URL, copy and paste it in there, then underneath in the box, the words you want to show then finish. Can't wait to see the finished project!!!

Ronnie, I think your thoughts have passed through the minds of more than one rv'er here. You have to do what suits you and your pocketbook because no one else is going to pay your bills right! I don't think it is necessarily a bad thought, it may be you need something different now.
mpfireman what on earth size of home do you have, $4800 x2 = $9600 for property taxes a year? I thought it was expensive in Southern California!

what a lovely picture, Bogie poses so nicely!! Our pups have some little rough spots on their backs. I started spraying them with something I got from Petsmart for itching (but they don't itch there, it's just patchy), medspray?...not sure what the name is off hand.
After reading about the omega fish oil, I have a notion to try that on them too. They are small so maybe just a capsule between them a day would be a good idea. Also, I wonder about rubbing it on them?

Looks like we're all echoing one another on our likes and dislikes. I also dislike that latest piggy one and really couldn't remember what the heck they're advertising. JCP has a horrible commercial. It's not just our age because my dd and her friends (27ish) think it's horrible too. I did get an interesting email from JCP, it was a coupon I had to virtually cut around 78 times to get a handbag 43 or 83% off. 78 times. I. Did. Not. Do. It. Then hit continue and they had some other coupon, but it said sold out?
CTS, I just want to comment on your cancelling your card. You may or may not need credit but they say never cancel your cards, just cut them up, because it can hurt your credit. I just wanted to throw this in, in case someone didn't know.

I love them any way, I love French or Italian bread toasted, buttered, then slice or spread the avocado on, have a dash of Tapatio sauce to dip in now and then...another YUM!! Now I have to get some avocados!!!

We have seen lots of people with CR-v's carry scooters in them. I think most will fit fine. Also, like one poster said, call the park and ask if they have mobility scooters for rent or to use, most parks do, even malls have wheel chairs.

Thanks all, I have passed the info on to him. Don't know who asked, but no he was never in the military. My dh and I will only need to sign up for parts A & B as his job (union) will cover the rest, thank goodness.

RE: Erosive osteoarthritis--what is your experience?
Chock, I am so happy you have found some relief! A question, do your feet hurt even when you are reclining with them up, or just when walking? I am asking because I have developed some kind of weakness in my ankle that seems to flare up now and then; it's really sore and hard to walk on, then goes away. I haven't asked the doc yet, could be the osteoarthritis, don't know.
BTW, don't forget to eat before you take anti-inflammatory meds. :)
