Teagle Wash?
Is it just my imagination, or has the Teagle Wash area really died out in the past few years? Teagle Wash used to look like a city of lights on the bigger weekends. It seems like it has gotten less crowded there over the past 2-3 years. And is it a fluke that this coincides with the new permanent restrooms that they built out there?
Stevens Mine Road has stayed busy, but Teagle seems dead. I liked it better the other way, where we could park on Stevens Mine Road all by ourselves and watch all the hubbub off in the distance.

How do the airbags redistribute weight? I can see changing the vertical position of the hitch point, but I don't see how they could shift weight anywhere.
If it lifts up the tongue, then some of the weight on the trailer has to shift back, like lifting the handles of a wheel barrow.

As if Our encounter was not enough,
I am at the doctors today chatting with a nurse and when She asked what I do for exercise, I said I walk(chase) 2 dogs. She comes back with, She was walking Her dog on a park trail near Yucaipa and they came across a rattler. The I tell Her My story. My blood pressure was a little higher than normal, She says thats O K, thinking about the encounter would raise Hers as well.
Then I come home and read the paper, over in Hemet they have an outdoor play at the Ramona Bowl, they had to take a brief recess while they rounded up a few rattlers that were in attendance.
Their out there right now looking for food after their "Winter Nap".
Keep an eye out and bee careful.

Seeing those pics reminds me how much I HATE SNAKES. We had one of them around our camper when we stayed at Coral Pink, the Rangers came around to pick him up. I was more inclined to introduce him to my ATV tire, Ranger won.
Them's good eats.
Mr. Ranger probably just didn't want to share.

I have a cat I'd like to tie up in the back yard as an early warning system. I don't know why I ever agreed to have a cat in the house.

Don't worry, the cat knows how I feel about her. She started it! I know she'd tie me up in the yard and feed me to the snakes if she could only figure out how (and if she had thumbs).

Good info, but did/could you post it at the Pet Owner's part of the forum as well?
I don't believe you can make multiple posts in different forums.
I put it here since "the toy hauler" group spends countless days in "snake territory". Especially in the South Western states.
Thanks for posting it here, Bob. I never would have seen it in the RV Pet Stop forum. I'm afraid I don't spend too much time there.
