RE: WiFi Blu Ray players, What's a good Brand/Model?
I bought a Sony from Costco, didn't work worth a darn! Grainy picture playing Blu Ray disks, buffered on Netflix every 5 minutes, took it back and bought a Magnavox model 5130 at Walmart for $98.00 and it works perfect. It does not have facebook, twitter. etc. but the Blu-Ray player is twice the quality of the Sony and Netflix does not freeze and buffer. I liked it so much I bought another one for the MH. If all you want is a good Blu-Pay player and Netflix there is nothing wrong with the Magnavox for less that $100.00
Thanks "brobox"! We were considering the Sony from Costco, but had read the same info about buffering in a review so we were hesitant ... this seals it. This is exactly the kind of feedback I was hoping for.:) We have a Wii so the PS3 doesn't fit our needs or wallet (and, yes, we do plan to use the Wii for Netflix also, but it stays hooked up to the kids TV, so it doesn't help my wife and I).
I thought about the PC connection, but it is not the direction I want to go right now, but thanks for the info.

WiFi Blu Ray players, What's a good Brand/Model?
Looking for a WiFi Blu Ray player primarily to be able to connect to Netflix through uVerse. Don't presently have an HD TV but plan to upgrade in the future. Trying to find something in the $100-$150 price range. Anyone have any recomendations of brands/models or on the flip side brand/models to avoid? Thanks!
