RE: 96 jeep cherokee

I tow my 96 Cherokee behind my 29ft Gulfstream Class C. I had my Cherokee weighed at work, and it came out to 3350lbs, with a half tank of gas,the falcon towbar set up, and brake buddy on the front seat. I have a class II receiver on the Motorhome, and I hardly know the Jeep is behind me.

RE: CIPA Wireless RV Level Indicator

First of all, the corner jacks are for "stabilization" not leveling. The device may work, but do not use these jacks for "leveling" the camper. Use boards or the linx levelers and not stress your trailer frame.
His looks like a Class C motorhome, not a trailer. What's the difference of using jacks that you crank, or jacks that are hydraulic to Level your Motorhome.

RE: Slimline HD dish tripod setup

Agree with all. Cannot stress about the perfectly plumb post. Set elevation, and skew, rotate dish till you get a signal. After I have everything set, it take me 2 minutes tops to get a signal.

RE: Low voltage

Check the breaker on the converter. If the breaker is open or tripped, the batteries will not charge.

RE: RC flying

I think it has happened to about everybody...... The only bad thing about when it happened to me, was that the flying field is 25 minutes away!

RE: Nascar #48

I'm not a Jimmy Johnson fan, but If Chad had only put on 2 tires like everyone else did on the last stop, Jimmy wouldn't have had to put himself in that position.

RE: Anyone using Direct Tv Slimline dish as portable

I use the slimline dish with 5 lnb setup for my motorhome. The trick is to get the 2" pole perfectly plumb and set the elevation and skew to your area. I use dishpointer.com. Then all it takes is to rotate the dish to the proper asmuth. It literally takes me 10 minutes from getting the tripod and dish out of the storage compartment to watching TV.

RE: nascar camping

While not the OP, I greatly appreciate the comments on Loudon. While Pocono is my closest track, Loudon was on my to do list from homebase in Southern NY. Now I may play elsewhere.
I don't mean to hijack the thread but I have another track camping question. I've never camped at the track before. My MH does not have a generator. I know that it is all dry camping. Is is feasible without the genny? I can get by without the microwave, not sure if I can get along without A/C. Be advised that most of my track camping would be Pocono, hopefully Dover, Bristol, Martinsville, Richmond, and possibly Loudon but now I'm having 2nd thoughts. Any thoughts are appreciated. Thanks.
Eyegor, I've been to Pocono for the last 10 years, and am going again for the August race. I park my rig in the Family RV area out side of turn 3. Again, you are limited in the amount of room you have to park your rig, but it is more room than at Loudon. Your not really going to be able to run your AC with out a generator.

RE: nascar camping

Last year for the fall race, I got there Friday morning and was escorted to my spot right away on the end of the row. I know they pack them in there tight, but your there to watch the race. Right?

RE: NASCAR Infield Camping Questions

I've been taking my Daughter to Pocono for 10 years now.. Always park in the family RV section outside of turn 3... Never had a problem.
