12V Distribution block

I would like to clean up the positive post on my chassis battery. Fleetwood gangs all the wires & I would like add some form of distribution block that allows me to have one positive cable on the post going to a block that distributes the power to the other wires.
Thanks for any input.

RE: Who's Using Crossfire Dual Tire Pressure Equalization System

Will this system work & mount if you have wheel liners? How do you add air? What if you have a TPS, then how is it mounted?
Thanks

RE: Bar Harbor Maine - smugglers Den

We are from NH originally & now live in Ohio. We always went to Bar Harbor on vacation & stayed at the Bar Harbor KOA before it became a KOA. The views are great, but greatly overpriced! When it was private it was a great place to stay. We now stay at the Narrows TOO everytime we go back East. It's a great cg located just before Thomas Island. It's close to Arcadia National Park, great places to get fresh lobster, clams, etc. Close to Bar Harbor & a lot of other great places to see & visit. THe sites are all full hookups & includes cable. The rates are resonable & you can choose to be right on the water or further back with a great view. Most sites have a great view of Cadilac Mountain. The rest rooms, showers & laundry rooms are very clean & neat. Great place for a morning walk, if you like the sea.
We've stayed at Bar Harbor cg & our stay was fine. The biggest problem was all the sites with a view were taken & we were there in the off season. Great place to bike!

The Great Outdoors RV Resort Titusville

We just made a reservation at this resort for five (5) months, Dec 2012 - Apr 2013. After reviewing many cg we felt this would be the best cg for our winter stay in Florida.
I Would appreciate any pro/con feedback on anyone who has stayed there for any length of time.
Thank you

Winegard Satellite Antenna

Does anyone have any experince with the Winegard Carryout GM1518 Automatic Portable Satellite TV Antenna? The reviews on the Camping World web site is all positive, but I don't really know who wrote them!
I have Dish at home & it seems to make sense to get a dish & have the service while camping, afterall I'm paying for it!
Any pro's or con's would be appreciated.

TPMS

It seems the TST system would be the best system for my MH. The system comes with six (6) pressure/temperature sensors & for $100. I can get four (4) more for the toad. I had an incident on my last trip, when the left front wheel on the toad had a brake hang up & started overheating the wheel. If it had't been for a trucker I don't know what would have happen. I didn't see any smoke in my rear vision camera. Those of you who have this unit, do you think the temperature sensor would have picked this up?
What are the pro's & con's on this system?
Thanks
I really appreciate all the input. I will be ordering the 507 & 4 additional sensors for the toad.
Thanks

TPMS

Does anyone have an opinion or feedback (pro/con)on the nVision Safety TPMS? I was considering this unit until I added up the price, which included four (4) additional sensors for the Toad. I was also puzzled that the system only comes with four (4) sensors, when most RV's (MH) come with six (6) tires.

RE: Bath fans for RV

There is a very easy replacement kit available for the bathroom vent fan. I did it myself with no problems. The kit is a direct replacement & can be done inside the coach without any modifications.
The product is "Vent Fan Replacement Kit" - Vortex Kit by Heng's Industries. This unit will move some serious air, is a bit loud, but sure beats the old cheap one!
Send me a private email & I will provide pictures.

Florida Campgrounds

Looking for moderately priced ($350 - $850/mo)campground in Southwest Florida (Gulf Coast below Tampa)for a four (4) month winter stay (2013). I keep looking (web), but can't seem to locate one that has good reviews, in the moderately priced range.
I would appreciate any feedback & recommendations.

RE: Leak in Bedroom

Had a similar problem with my 2007 Fleetwood Terra LX. I removed a draw under the wardrobe in the left corner of bedroom. Found water stains on the wood frame & water between the wall & frame. Checked outside in the storage compartment on that side & discovered water dripping from the metal framework. In addition, I discovered moisture in the corner of the living room slide, also along this metal frame. I too sealed just over the bedroom & the floor line area. After about six (6) months of frustration I finally started at the front of the coach, sealed the front cap & along the gutter on both sides of the coach. I no longer have any leaks! The water must have been leaking in the front & traveling along the metal framework to the back corner.
Hope this helps!

RE: Slideout floor coming apart

The recommended fix is to drill holes approximately 3/8” to ½” from the side & use #10 X 1” SS Flathead screws to pull back up & seal. As I understand there is a metal strip under the floor that the screws are pulling the floor to.
Be sure to drill a pilot hole before trying to insert the SS screws! Without the pilot hole the screws will break off.
My tech contact at Fleetwood is Neil Buschur. Neil is extremely helpful & has provided me with numerous electrical schematics as well as manufacturing drawings that have been most helpful. Neil's email address is neil.buschur@fleetwwoodrv.com

RE: WELDEX Rear Vision Camera

I had the exact same problem with mine, while I was in FL! I called RV Cam & had a new system sent to my site (UPS). The problem with the Weldex was the rear camera was NG. That's why I ordered a new camera & monitor, because I wasn't sure which was bad. I still have the monitor.
