RE: Dish network

At one time you could take the box from your house and place it in the RV, But now they are stopping this because of people selling boxes to other people and charging them like half of there bill, So now with Dish network you will have to order a box on your home Account just for the RV, Don't believe that Take your house box camping with you away from your house address and it will not work, It now has to be a RV account. I have two in my rig that dish thinks are in my garage.... No way for them to know where the receiver is

RE: How you have sold RV's

You can't beat eBay or Craig'slist for the number of potential buyers that will see your RV. There are people that will list your RV on those sites for a fee. The main thing is that it has to be priced to sell. You will be competing against others so your price needs to on the low end of what everyone else is asking. I've sold RV's on Craig'slist and Classic cars on eBay and have always been happy with the quick results. I know of no consignment place that can give you the exposure that eBay and Craig'slist will. The consignment dealers are known by many RV owners, who also know current sales prices whereas eBay and Craig'slist will attract current RV owners, and new buyers, that are getting into the RV ownership and are not familiar with the usual consignment dealers. They are your best chance to get a higher price. I believe your right on most of this however, I don't think you need to under sell your rig unless it's in bad shape. My toyhauler was listed and sold for more than a similar rig listing price. Mine was in like new if not better shape then new... Remember this is a very large purchase for most people and a very clean well taken care of vehicle is worth more..

RE: How you have sold RV's

Tried selling our toyhauler on Consignment for about 2 months took it back and sold on Craigslist in about 3 weeks when the market was horrible. We got 5 grand more than what we would have got on Consignment..

RE: Blue lights above wheel wells

I'm going to guess it's probably done with some sort of light bulb and/or fixture. Most likely controlled with a switch. Just a guess.... :B

RE: Ac not working and half my outlets!!!Help its 104 deg

What ever happened with this?? I have a friend with a Revolution, in one of the outside driver side boxes we found the inverter had a tripped breaker. We reset it and all was good. I guess the shore and geni power passes thru even when not inverted...

RE: Smog check for diesel F350

I do know that there is "wireless" communication with the vehical, but don't remember the specific years. There also is the capability for the authorities to put sensors out on the highway and "scan" vehicals as they drive by, and pull info from the OBD. I don't remember where that idea went, there was alot of concern from the public about "big brother" watching over them. I do know that the OBD memory can store alot more stuff than you might want someone else to know :W Wow that is interesting, I never heard of that... That is kinda "big brother"

Smog check for diesel F350

I have not changed anything on my truck but I almost have a few times I am pretty glad I never did... I will let ya know how it goes Has anybody with "mods" tried to get smogged? what happened?

RE: RV Fire

My 3 year old learned, we would go camping in the trailer (we had a toyhauler) so now that we have a Class A she still calls it the trailer... I think it's cute and now out of habit we all call it "the trailer".. When we speak of it with people we call it the trailer..... When we meet up to go camping I roll up in my full body paint 35 foot Class A people almost always say "thought you had a trailer" I think its pretty funny LOL PS. Hope i never have to run from my burning "trailer"

RE: Golf carts

I live in Louisiana and have RVed for 7 years now and never saw a golf cart in a campground. Ok yeah, I only go to state parks. And thankfully any vehicle on a campground road has to be licensed for the highway. Your are cranky... Do you yell at kids to stay off your lawn?? What color is your hair? my guess is blue What color is your neck? My guess is red. :) YEEEEEE HAAAAAA

RE: Fresh tank full during travel - Fuzion says no?

Broccoli2, Doesnt appear they did a very good job wiring the brakes either. That always bugged me but I never got around to dealing with it. I can't believe they never got ripped out....

RE: Fresh tank full during travel - Fuzion says no?

I had one of the 2 tanks on my warrior fall down to the axle, but that was because nobody tightened or double nutted the all thread... I had a friend bring extra nuts and when we left I emptied the water that was left and bolted it back up and no problems keeping it full up until it was sold.. If the axle wan't there to catch it I would have been in a heap of trouble... http://i184.photobucket.com/albums/x226/broccoli2-2007/Toy%20Hauler/IMG_4514.jpg width=800
