RE: Exterior Surface Bubbles

If you were looking at an Alpha, a National RV product or some others product from the early 2000's what you are seeing is bad fiberglass. There is no fix. Keep walking, keep looking.

RE: Tires, surge protector, oil questions

Hi there We have a 2006 Camelot 40PDQ. Basically the same motorhome. At 65 to 70 mph we get about 7.5. Lately I have slowed it down to low 60's and mileage went up to 8,5. I can tell you stories about how happy I am with my surge protector. If I can answer any questions, let me know. Larry

RE: ladder recomendation

As I said, ours is a 7'. My rule is that 7 fits in my basement and stays clean so I'm good with that. Usually, if you are in a park someone has a taller more substantial one if you need one.

RE: ladder recomendation

Put us down for the 4x4 as well. I looked at it for at least 3 years, and kept walking away. I just couldn't justify the price. I finally bit the bullet and am really glad I did. Get the 7', that will get you almost to the roof of your coach and will still easily fit in the basement. I bought mine at Camping World

RE: Tecma toilets

When I have something like that going on and I talk to an RV tech his first question would be "Is the water pump on? Is there water in the tank?"

RE: Road Side Assistance ,Any Recommendations?

x3 for Coachnet. We just had our first "coach net experience" and were impressed. For us Good Sam equals too much junk mail.

Amish cooling unit

What is it?
I have been reading forums about RV fires and often see that people are changing to "Amish Cooling Units". What are they talking about?

That's part of the beauty of the ONroute centers. The RV parking is nowhere near the truck parking. But it is close to Tim's for your morning joe

Calling all Tire experts

It's time to replace the rubber on our 2006 Monaco Camelot. The coach currently has 295 80R 22.5 Goodyear 670. I have a chance to get a heck of a deal on a couple of 305 70R 22.5 Michelins for the Steers. do I do it? Advantages? Disadvantages?
