RE: 32 " Wiper Blade Refils

28" refills will not work in my 31 inch blades, they don't reach the last clip . 31" refills are not available anywhere in the "THIN" TYPE THAT MONACO CHOOSE TO USE That way they can sell you $53.00 blades !! every 3 or 4 years. RIPOFFFFF Wayne

RE: 32 " Wiper Blade Refils

THANX to all for your advice: Here is what I did to avoid paying MONACO their outrageous price of $53.00 per blade plus shipping Go to any NAPA and order a set of Fleet Edge blades part # 60-2856. These are about 2 inches shorter that the OEM but who looks out fo the cornor of the windshield. They are a direct fit using their install kit with is very simple. MOST IMPORTANT in the future you will be able to buy refills for the blade at any NAPA store. Refill are about $6.00 a pair. The ones from Monaco are impossible to find refils for. Thanx again Wayne

RE: 32 " Wiper Blade Refils

Moisheh; Mine do not have two arms like those in the picture on the Newmar. I would say that the space is right at 5/8 inch. As far as refils, that is what I started out trying to find but both on-line and in the local auto part stores, no one has 32 inch refils I am thinking of modifiing my existing blads to accept 27 or 28 inch refills which are avaialble. Everthing I looked at had a a different mounting system, all would require some type of modifications to work. and I am not home and near by tools. What really gets me is that you can buy complete 28" blade assy's for about $12.00 and Monaco wants over $50 for 32 inch. Wayne

RE: 32 " Wiper Blade Refils

do the NAPA 60-3256 mount with a single bolt through the blade. My bolt is very small and has a shoulder on it and goes through a hole in the the body of the blade which has a brass insert in the hole? Thanks Wayne

RE: 32 " Wiper Blade Refils

bc No, not "J" hook. They mount using a very small nut/bolt. The bolt has a shoulder where it goes through a brass busihing in the blade. You can buy all diffeent kinds/types of complete blades in 28 inch for around $12.00 but they have a different type of mounting system. Thanx again, Wayne

RE: 32 " Wiper Blade Refils

Do you drill out the rivets and move the two end clips further to the center? How can the OEM blades accomodate the shorter refil? Wayne

32 " Wiper Blade Refils

Has anyone had any luck finding 32 inch refils for their Wipers. All I can find is whole new blade assy's for around $50.00 This is such a rip off as you can see that the blade assy's will gtake a refil if you could buy them. Why are we always getting ripped off by the moho industry? Thanx for any help Wayne

RE: Intellitec EMS Question

Dave; I have the same system in an 07 HR. Yours is mal-functioning. With 30 AMP you should be able to run several of any electrical appliances in the coach. If you exceed 30 aamps some things will shut down. Beginning and end of story Wayne

RE: bank recourse ???

I agree, but it would be really hard to get the "old" Monaco to step up to anything. In the past two yeaars I have come across a fiver and a moho on fire or just out. Both burned to the ground in about 15 minutes and I don't think you could "investigate" anything except melted metal and ashes. WTD

RE: New Tires / Date Codes

Kaiser Brake and Align. 541-344-5887 Gary Kaiser is the son, he WORKS there as does his father. They are good, have a rack for up to 45 foot moho's and they are (above all) honest. MAKE AN APPOINTMENT, you can stay overnight there for first thing in the morning appoints. Thney have 50 Amp. Wayne

RE: bank recourse ???

What would happen if you owed $200 k on a motorhome, and it burned to the ground. The insurance would have to satisfy the loan no matter what the moho was worth????? Or, does the insur. co. just give you high book and you are responcible for the difference??? WTD

RE: New Tires / Date Codes

The absolute best shop for alignment in Oregon is in Eugene on the west side just off the by-pass. It is highly recomnended by Monaco and Me. If you are going by there and want the name let me know and I will look it up (Senior moment) I also just bought two new Mich's from them (295's) and they gave me a good price and the tires were only 20 weeks old. wayne
