RE: Sleep Number bed-Roll call

We have a King sleep number in the MH, controlers went bad twice, while in use it has to be constantly adjusted. One side goes flat and the other side gets hard as a rock when not in use. When coach come's out of winter storage this spring I can't wait to get rid of the thing and put a pillow top in instead.

RE: Sloppy Hitch Receiver

I have seen an aftermarket device that tightens it up. IIRC, Cabela's (www.cabelas.com) sells it.
Here is a link for the product:
http://www.cabelas.com/product/Auto-ATV/Trailering-Performance/Hitches-Ball-Mount-Accessories%7C/pc/104796180/c/104780880/sc/104386680/Anti-Rattle-Hitch-Bracket/734187.uts?destination=%2Fcatalog%2Fbrowse%2Fauto-atv-trailering-performance-hitches-ball-mount-accessories%2F_%2FN-1100802%2FNs-CATEGORY_SEQ_104386680%3FWTz_l%3DSBC%253BMMcat104796180%253Bcat104780880&WTz_l=SBC%3BMMcat104796180%3Bcat104780880%3Bcat104386680
In reading the reviews, a lot of people have issues with it, however, you could use the principle of it and build your own.
I tow several different types and size trailers, and a motorcycle carrier, with both my motorhome and pick up truck. Have been using the bracket from Cabels for years, it is simple, easy, and works just great.

RE: Considering class A's. what coaches are "above" Foretravel?

We bought an American Eagle new in 2006, Like any coach you buy, it was not without its problems, but I can not begin to say enough good about the people at American Coach, and the way they went completly out of their way to make us happy and correct any issues. It may not be a Prevost or a Newell, but it is quality all the way, and pretty hard to beat.

RE: Changing roof satellite dishes

Just returned home from a trip to Wisconsin, and again the Track Vision would not work, we have been out 6 or 7 times this year and the thing has not worked one time. When I saw this thread I was very interested in the information, as my coach will not leave the driveway with that thing again. Just the aggravation it has caused will be worth the cost of a Traveler, which seems to be the unit of choice. Thanks for the information.

RE: What did you do to your Class A MH today???

Spent the better part of the day trying to find out why my Norcold refrigerator wouldn't work, only to discover that the recall fix that a local dealer did about a month ago failed, I guess this is a very common problem. Put the wires back to the original configuration and all is well again. So much for Norcold's recall.

RE: Fleetwood Discovery or Bounder D/P

I have had 5 class A's over the years, the one I had the least problems with and liked the most was the Discovery with a Cat.

RE: Kwikee electric step frozen in the out position

My step stopped working and was stuck in the extended position, a couple of well placed hits with a hammer directly on the motor and it came right in. I got away with doing this several times before it finaly stopped working. And drivby is right it is the power window motor from a Ford Taurus. My son works for NAPA and cross referenced the number and got me one. Less than half of what a dealer wanted.
