RE: smallest tabletop charcoal grill

I lay the ceramic briquettes over the disperser plate which evens out the heat better and adds flavor off the meat juices. By adding a piece of tile, I even bake with it as you may have seen from my other posts.

RE: Outdoor Camp Kitchen

So I came up with the idea of building an outdoor kitchen that is, collapsible, portable, lightweight, easy to set up. We usually have to decide if we are bringing one appliance or the other. Never enough room for both. I doubt that the second kitchen could ever be that collapsible.

RE: smallest tabletop charcoal grill

here is my "Go Anywhere" in the gas version on my boat. I have not seen anything of any quality that is smaller than this. http://img205.imageshack.us/img205/5356/wt9v.jpg

RE: Truck Camper bicycle rack?

2nd the front hitch if you can do it as it just frees up the back door area while traveling.

RE: Dual Batteries

First off, do not try to pair up 2 dissimilar batteries. Second, the 27's offer more amp hours than the 24's. So, 2 - 27's will give you the most use between charges.

RE: Can I put a reveiver on the campers bumper

I'd bet that the camper bumper hitch was used for a back porch or bike rack.

RE: Secret of Grilling Chicken

I knew brining would come up in the conversation. And IMO, a huge waste of time for store bought chicken. People of that camp might be unaware of how much liquid is pumped into our meat for weight. These things show up to the meat counter fully injected.

RE: Secret of Grilling Chicken

Maybe not a bad cook, just paranoid. Generalizing, people that live in fear of under cooked chicken are usually the ones that cook it to death. Boneless chicken breast for example is probably a 10 minute excercise. I'd rather bring it in early and see by a cut that I need to put it back on for a few minutes than bring it in and think I should have taken it off 5 minutes ago. I(t is just in how you approach it.

Corn beef hash?

Does anyone know if there is a quality corn beef hash product out there available? My wife hates Hormel corn beef hash but enjoyed some at a restaurant made with shredded corn beef. If there is a secret source for some good corn beef hash, I'd love to know of it.

RE: Superhitch Question

Sight unseen, I'm going to say that 48" automatically calls for a 2 1/2" extension. Can we see a picture of how these 2 hitches are working together?

RE: Time Lapse of TC Removal From Truck

Not bad for manual jacks, at least while being played in hyper speed. LOL!

RE: Whiskeytown Lake 5/18-5/20

Peach Rolls Check out this post on the camp cooks forum. I substituted cinnamon rolls for the biscuits and peaches for the pineapple. Melted butter, brown sugar and peaches on the bottom of the pan http://img341.imageshack.us/img341/5841/wt1d.jpg Cooked on my onboard grill over a tile to prevent bottom burning http://img43.imageshack.us/img43/1200/wt2d.jpg

RE: Superhitch Question

The length of extension required and what you are pulling will dictate which is best.

RE: Whiskeytown Lake 5/18-5/20

Nice! Love that area. How are the lake levels, looks pretty good? The launch ramp is almost too short. Water is up.

RE: Outfitter Apex 8 Wallpaper issue

My problem areas are edge seams where the edge has started to lift and curl. Not sure how I'll get it to stick without sitting there with my finger on it for hours.

Whiskeytown Lake 5/18-5/20

My wife, her friend Allison and I fished Whiskeytown Lake Friday and Saturday for a sum of a dozen kokanee and approx. 2 dozen rainbows. The conditions were perfect and our optimism was high. We had mild breezes and warm tempertures. With great conditions, we did have a great time with good food and lots of laughs. Here is my new boat menu item of upside down peach cinnamon rolls. http://img689.imageshack.us/img689/883/wt3x.jpg The crew. http://img205.imageshack.us/img205/5356/wt9v.jpg Fishing 5 downriggers - 3 across the back. http://img840.imageshack.us/img840/8968/wt4o.jpg One of the Rainbows. http://img692.imageshack.us/img692/3429/wt5j.jpg http://img705.imageshack.us/img705/2594/wt6.jpg http://img838.imageshack.us/img838/5568/wt7j.jpg http://img19.imageshack.us/img19/3633/wt8f.jpg

RE: Need old timer or good searcher

Folks, if you haven't tried some of the variations, you don't know what you are missing. I made the cinnamon roll with peaches version this weekend on the boat while we were fishing and none of us would have cared about the fish while we were eating these wonderful things! http://img689.imageshack.us/img689/883/wt3x.jpg

RE: Homemade insect screens for frig and water heater

Might still be enough space for small, web making spiders. The trick I was told when I bought my camper was to add pieces of a dog flea & tick collar to those areas.

RE: Campfire recipes

"Camping is about getting away from heavy expectations in all areas of life, including meals " SAY WHAT? Whenever everything else goes to pot, there's always the food!

RE: Fuel filler neck

I wonder if it would be easier to add a secondary tank then cutting holes in a tank that has or has had gas in it?
