RE: Kudos to Eternabond.

Eternabond is the bomb. Used a bunch in my roof rebuild back in 05. Here we are, almost 7 years later, and the roof is holding up great. And I don't have covered storage. Roof has been exposed to the elements the entire time.

RE: Leaking roof

We use Eternabond for most places, Dicor on round things
.
Know I am jumping in late but wanted to add my 2 cents.
Ditto on the Eternabond. Used that a lot in my roof rebuild back in 2005. Only leak since then was due to cap popping of a tank vent pipe cover.

RE: Heater quit

No propane would NOT explain why the blower does not come on.
Have you verified 12+ VDC at the furnace itself?
Have you verified that the thermostat is indeed working?x2
Ditto. If you ran out of propane, the furnace would go into lockout mode which means the blower would continue to run.
No blower means electrical problem or a failed blower motor.
* Low or no voltage to furnace - check with multimeter
* Time delay relay failure - check with multimeter
* Control board failure -
* Motor failure - hotwire 12VDC to the motor and see if it runs
On second thought, I think the control board doesn't even come into the loop until the motor runs and the sail switch closes but I don't recall off the top of my head. Find a troubleshooting guide for your make and model furnace and go from there.

RE: Any bathtubs in rvs

Mine has a 'tub' but it is really small. Would be ok for bathing small children or pets but an adult would have a hard time taking a bath.

RE: INSTALLING NEW HEAT GAUGE

Most stock temperature gauges are glorified idiot lights and may not show the true temperature. I replaced the gauge on my 460 a few years back. Mechanically it was easy, but working in the cramped space behind the dash was real pain.
Auto Meter sells a wide variety of styles so you may be able to match the style of your existing gauge very closely if not exactly.
If you have little mechanical experience, I wouldn't recommend you tackle the project solo. Ask around to your friends. You might get lucky and find a friend with mechanical skills who will help you do it for a steak and a couple of beers. Heck of a lot cheaper and more fun than taking it to a shop.
If you strike out finding a mechanic friend. Any decent auto repair place should be able to do the swap. No need to limit yourself to an RV shop.
