RE: RV movement while towing

OK, As you have been told this is normal. those big rigs do the same thing to each other. Next time you are on the road with the RV. Keep an eye on approaching traffic. Specifically if it is a moving faster than you big rig or bus, let up on the accelerator a little until he is just about to the rear of your rv. Accelerate gradually. When a rig passes, we have the tendency to release the accelrator, which causes the hitch to float on the ball and will cause a lot of sway. If you accelrate and keep the trailer in tow, hitch against or on the ball, the sway will be decreased since you now pulling the trailer as opposed to it floating. Sometimes it is unavoidable so make sure you are paying attention.

RE: Kayaks and Hybrids

Hi. I have both an Ocean Kayak Malibu XL tandem and a Sea Eagle SE370 both are nice and track well in the water. The Ocean is faster and nice when you are going alone. The Sea Eagle is great for the Kids since they stay in it better. Since the Sea Eagle is inflatable, much easier to carry. Inflating does not take too long either. The Ocean really glides through the water where the Sea Eagle can be affected by Wind. the biggest difference is price. about $700 difference between the 2. If mostly doing lakes and rivers, look at a sit-in but if you might be doing some saltwater excursions, consider a sit-on top. Ocean goes on roof of Pickup.

RE: rays town lake pa

Hi Lake Raystown is beautiful. We stayed at Pleasant Hills CG but the next time we go we will most likely stay at Heritage Cove. Check it out!

RE: Towing trailer with full tanks?

Hi, If you plan on drinking the water out of your tank and have never used it, I'd flush it thoroughly then put the Walmart sanitizer in. Not sure about the Chlorine bleach but there has to be something antibacterial out there that you can use that won't kill you or make you very sick. I buy jugs or gallons of water for drinking and use the tank water for bathing etc. Very rarely drink the water from my fresh water tank. As for the black tank sensors, all it is really just an approximation. Mine does the same thing, tried the ice, it didn't work. I t still reads either 3/4 or full when bone dry. If you are that concerned about it, invest in a tote with a hitch connection.
