RE: Curiosity about Shamrock/Roo models

We love our 07 Shamrock 23B. The 2 doors are nice to have, but at the same time, it might have been nice to have extra storage space if one of those doors were gone. Overall, still a great trailer. My DW and I do not like the U-Dinette's especially in front of the bunk beds. Our floor plan is the 2nd one in bikendan's post.

RE: Back from our first camping trip of 2011

Sounds like you had fun. I've always wanted to go there, but we've never had the chance. My youngest son and I just got back from Kenosee and there were hardly any mosquitoes. The dragonflies were everywhere, so that definitely helped with the pests. I was expecting way more considering how much rain that part of the province has had over the last 2 summers. Thanks for the pictures, they're always great to look at.

RE: reaching tent ends to clean

Not to hijack the thread, but has anyone used the Mr. Clean Magic Erasers on the tent ends? I've used it on our awning, and the erasers work wonders on that.

RE: TC Highway East of Regina Closed

It looks like #1 is re-open, but still numerous highways are closed or restricted.

Squeaky Door Hinges

Hey everyone:
I'm not sure what the best way to get rid of door hinge squeak is, but I thought I would ask. Does WD-40 work, or do you need to take the door right off the hinges and spray WD-40, or are there other options out there? What have you done out there to get rid of that squeak?
Thanks!

RE: Weight distribution

Peace of mind with the WDH. I've never used sway control, and at this point don't plan to. I've towed the trailer in pretty much every kind of condition out there, and never felt the need for the sway control. But I would never tow (with the exception of the dealer and back which is 3 miles away) without the WDH.

TC Highway East of Regina Closed

Just a warning for any would be travellers heading west or east on the Trans Canada near Sintaluta and Indian Head. The highway is closed due to massive flooding from all of the rain that has hit the area over the last week. Traffic is being rerouted. Take precautions when making your travel arrangements. Please be aware that many roads and highways in Sask are closed due to floods or washouts. Check the following link if travelling through Sask for highway conditions.

RE: Chicago

We stayed at the Chicago Northwest KOA last year near Union. I think it was about a 15 minute drive to the train station from there if I remember correctly. Campground was fine, nothing special, but served our needs.

Dillberry Lake Provincial Park

Hey everyone! We're heading to Dillberry Lake Provincial Park in Alberta this summer for a family reunion camping trip. Don't know too much about the park, and haven't really found any info on the net. Does anybody have experience with this park? If you do, what are your thoughts?
Thanks,
Robag
