RE: Camper Village Cedar Point Sandusky Ohio

Had a great time and thought it was one of the nicest campgrounds. Pads were paved and pool open til midnight....oh and there was the amusement park as well.

RE: bunkhouse or NO bunkhouse?

Depends on the ages I would say....Had two bunk houses while the kids were young. Now one is seventeen and one is in college and the bunk house is replaced by the huge living area with recliners and lots of windows. Everyone seems to like it and I have two aero twins for the kids when they do choose to join us, and they're not complaining.

RE: DODGE

I figured I'd buy a new truck when I was about to retire......lately I have been rethinking that and will most likely keep the one I got. It's been good to me and has low mileage for a nine year old diesel. Chevy(GMC) and Ford are both sharp looking though.

RE: Bed length for a fifthwheel

I have a short bed with the slider hitch. I use to always slide it before navigating the sites until I read here somewhere that it wasn't really necessary to do so. Found this to be true and I have NOT use the slide in years now. I like the shortbed......think it looks better IMO

RE: Power Converter bad???

Mine went while out of state on vacation. Exact same symptoms. Dealer said I could buy and put a charger right to the battery and just leave it on until it was time to go home. Now we carry it....needless to say.

RE: ordering a new fith wheel

Our Cedar Creek Silverback 29 RE was 6 weeks.....give take a day or two.

RE: people with full time jobs and kids

Have not been to Disney in years (04 or 05)but it was well worth it (and all things are probably relative still). Was nice having breakfast, lunch and some other meals at the site (big savings!) and the compartments loaded with cases of water and other beverages (which were a small fortune at the park).

RE: Will adding a leaf help squat?

Second vote for Firestone Ride Rite....Just added them over the winter and they have been the best upgrade. IMHO

RE: Looking for a 5er for a short bed truck

The Cedar Creek Silverbacks have the mitered corners like mentioned above. I just purchased a 29 RE and we love it. I have the slide hitch but haven't slid it in years, even with the old trailer. Read on this site where some people think they need to be slid when 95% of the time it's not necessary. Found that was true..
