RE: LED Light Fires?

Anything electrical can cause a fire. The recalls, and any fires were likely not caused by the LED (heat) but more than likely short circuits.

RE: Please wash your hands

It constantly amazes me how people on this forum try to push their version of right and wrong on everyone else (most often weakly disguised as etiquette). Now we have the dang hygiene police. MYOB. Maybe he had hand sanitizer in the truck.

RE: Montana 5th wheels

I think it is important to remember what this thread is about and that is to offer suggestions based on our personal experiences. They will differ and that is normal. I think my recommendations and the reasons behind them are clear and they don't have to be repeated.:S However your recomendation about the longer warranty was based soley on OPINION with no basis in FACT that it affect quality of the trailer.

RE: nutrition facts, carbohydrates?????

Why would you ask on the internet? Your doctor or nutritionist is the best source of information.

RE: Camping with a 1 year old

Every parent loves their children to death. But, if your kid cries and get loud, look at it in the prospective of your neighbor. Some people don't like the noise. So you are saying not to bring your child if they cry or get loud? Have you ever been around a child? I have never met one that didn't cry or get loud at some point. I have always seen camping as a family event, my loud and crying child is certainly part of the family :) Doesn't change the fact that not everyone want's to hear it!

RE: Purchasing New Travel Trailer.....need pricing help.

I am almost ready to order a 2013 KZ Spree 285ks with the LX package. How do I know what a good deal might be? I have done some research but the prices fluctuate quite a bit. I have seen prices as low as 23k on the internet without the LX package. The bad news is that the closest dealer to me is 100 miles away. I have been quoted a price close to 25k before tax and licensing fees.It will be about 27k out the door. Does this seem to be a fair price to you? Thanks in advance.... How do you know what a good deal will be? If you are happy with the price and terms, you made a good deal. Forget about internet pricing and what everyone else paid.

RE: For those that think you don't need WD with a dually.

Dually has nothin to do with a WDH. The need for a WDH is based on reciever capacity has nothin to with 1/2, 3/4 1-Ton or MDT. If the tounge weight exceeds the rating of the recievers non weight distributing rating then you need a WDH. There are no other reasons.

RE: Do You Use Premium Gas When Towing ?

Unless you reprogram your computer the more expensive gas is just wasted money.

RE: Question about using overdrive

I'm new to the 5th wheel scene and need to know the proper way to use the tranny when towing. I've got a F-350 dually diesel and pulling a rather heavy trailer with a tri-axle set up. When starting out, should the overdrive be off and should I continue driving with it off all the time even at highway speeds? Or, should I start with the OD off and then when I reach cruising speed can I turn it on? I would appreciate some comments as regards this issue. Thanks in advance. Your question can normally be answered in you owners manual.

RE: Question on .177 Co2 pellet gun

...I got it instead of a CO2 gun because of concerns of CO2 leakage. Only concern I have with CO2 rifles or pistols is leakage of the gas. I know this is a bit off topic, but why the concern about leakage of CO2? It's not like it is a harmful gas. No the issue its if it leaks its not there when your ready to shoot.

RE: Question on .177 Co2 pellet gun

I use .177 and .22 caliber air rifles to kill squirrels. IMO do yourself a favor and buy the RWS model 34 air rifle in .22. Its a springer, and finely made and IMO the RWS makes the best airguns on the market. Plus no C02 to fuss with and the larher caliber puts 'em down good. The only time they are not dead when they hit the ground with mine is if I miss the head/vitals.
