RE: Keeping a hybrid at a seasonal resort site

We have thought about purchasing a park trailer but we really enjoy the Roo 19. We have averaged over 25 nights/days of camping over the last several seasons. We can always pull it from the resort and go to one of our favorite Minnesota State Parks if we wanted to.
Just think of the tow money we are gonna save by keeping the hybrid at the resort. I can ride my MC up to its location.
another advantage I see is that I can head up later in the evening and cut down on tow time and trying to back the camper into a new place late in the evening. Set up time should be a matter of minutes to lower the bunkends.
Thought about buying a cabin but they cost to much and you spend to much time mowing the grass. for $1,450 I can keep the hybrid at the resort (including the winter) if we want to. It seems to fit our life styles.
and the best part is that that that big sand is a good walleye fishing lake. ther are some really nice lakes in the area to get after the eyes..... and the heated swimming pool!

Keeping a hybrid at a seasonal resort site

for 2012 we are planning on keeping our Roo 19 at a seasonal site from May 25 until the end of Oct. Its a full hook up and they have a heated swimming pool.

I was not planning on keeping the bunk ends out full time but have seen people with a hybid do that.
Any concerns that I should be aware of. I have seen some use blocks under the stabilizers?
If your at a full time site with sewer, do you keep the grey water open? Wait until the black is full and then dump so you get a good flush or do some keep it open all the time?

RE: Silverado 1500 owners???

I have a 2011 Silverado 5.3 and pull a Roo 19. I only use the Tow/Haul mode in stop and go traffic. I turn it off and let the tranny do its thing on the interstate.
If you really want to know the answer to the tow/haul question ask the mechs at the dealership.
