Still looking for a upper end 5th wheel, used, to put on a site. What about Nu-Wa ? I understand Teton was a good one also. I wanted something 37-39' I think the 5th wheels are made better than the park models. any other good ones come to mind? Thanks

Looking for a 5th wheel

Looks like we will be going from class A to 5th wheel. We will not be towing it but just putting it on our lot. What are some of the best names as far as quality and luxury in a 5th wheel. we are looking at used, 36-40 ft. Thanks

RE: MA to FL Snowbirding with Toad - Best Route?

After going down several ways.... this seems the best. From NY I87 South to 287. 287 to 78 78 to 81 81 to 66 66 to 17 17 to 95 These roads are flatter, less boring, better in the winter, and avoids the big cities.

RE: 2010 Ford Escape

This information has been a great help in determining if we go for an Escape or Mariner to tow. I do like the SUV's but still worry about the transmission problems. I see one good response and the a negative. Not sure wht to do. Anyone else flat towing an Escape with no problems ??

RE: 2010 Ford Escape

I have been looking for a used 2010 Escape also and in my research I have found the ones built after 2/8/2010 had the revised transmissions. This was to help with the over heating and failure. My question is... what was your build date ? Does anyone know of a failure of a 2010 or newer Escape or Mainer that has a build date past 2/10 and also if they followed the dinghy towing instructions as to lowering the fluid ?????????

RE: Saturn Vue

I have an 06 V6 Vue that tows great. 45K on it. But I am having an electrical issue. It starts fine for a while then doesn't, no pattern, no obvious reason. Sometimes the battery is down. Other times it just clicks for a while then starts. Sytem checked, new battery.

2010 Mariner as toad

Considering a 2010 Mercury Mariner V6 as a toad. Heard some of them had transmission problems when towed. Something to do with the fluid. Can anyone give me some facts on this? Also any other info on them. Thanks
