RE: Another Straight Talk question

Check out Consumer Cellular, they are the best deal. We have them and love it, no contract and no problems.

RE: floating wood flooring

Wood flooring installed in our Discovery is beautiful and just wipe to clean. A small thin strip of carpet glued to the bottom front edge of the slide outs rides on the wood, does not mark it in any way and sweeps it clean for no scratches when moving in and out. The only carpet is up front between the front seats and the bedroom. No carpet for us!

RE: Nashville Music

If I was there on Tuesday night I would not miss the "Doyle and Debbie" show at the Station Inn. I would see them before I went anywhere else!!

RE: Steering Helpers

I have the Steer Safe and like it. It does make a big difference as the steering is more positive in my opinion. My coach steered nice before I installed it and now it is even better. It makes a big difference in the wind and now requires less corrections of the steering wheel.

RE: tire monitor systems

I have the Tire Traker system on my motorhome and like it. It does take some time to set it up and learn how to use it but is worth the time. It works good and is a comfort to be able to see the tire pressures without the need to use a gauge. If you need to add or remove air the easy way to do it is have the monitor with you and reading that tire then just remove the sensor, add or remove air, re-install the sensor and read the pressure. Well worth the money!

RE: BEWARE of DishForMyRV and Pace!

Well for one answer I have cable at home and only wanted the DishForMyRv service for my motor home. For the second answer "nowhere" on any web site do they say you must buy the receiver from them. To prove that I was able to get it activated by another Dish re-seller. I say they just wanted to sell me a new receiver and that is very near a fraud on the consumer!

RE: BEWARE of DishForMyRV and Pace!

I contacted the reseller who was in LA. three times and they said Dish Network had to activate it and they were just giving me a hard time and that since Pace is now involved with Dish Network this is now a problem. They did not want to activate a receiver unless purchased from them or someone they had an agreement with.

BEWARE of DishForMyRV and Pace!

Wanting satellite service in my RV I ordered a Dish VIP 211k receiver from Camping World on line. The next day I received an Email from Camping World telling me the receiver was on back order and maybe would ship in 3 to 4 weeks. Not wanting to wait the 4 weeks I canceled the order. I went on line (EBay) and purchased the same receiver from a Dish Network reseller. This is the exact same receiver, new in the box as sold by Camping World. I installed the receiver and then called DishForMyRV to activate it and purchase programming. “This is where the fun started” I was told they could not activate the receiver, as I did not buy it from them. I explained that I tried but that did not help. Two days, many calls and hours later, including several talks with a supposed supervisor, they still would not activate the receiver. Several times I was told to purchase another new receiver from them and they could activate it. THEY WERE CLEARLY TRYING TO SELL ME ANOTHER NEW RECEIVER. Refusing to purchase another new receiver I took the receiver to a local Dish Network dealer and in 20 minutes he had the receiver activated and my month-to-month account set up. :h

Consumer Cellular service

I am looking for a basic cell service only and am considering Consumer Cellular as the plans are much less expensive that others. Does anyone us them and can you tell me if the service works in most places? They do show a large coverage map on the web site. I am not interested in the buy service card plans the stores sell. Really like to hear from people using them. :@

RE: Need advice on 2010 CRV

Install a RoadMaster base plate, the Roadmaster tail lamp kit with the bulb that goes in the light housing then have someone install a M&G brake system. The Roadmaster base plate bolts on easy, no metal cutting, I did mine in three hours in my driveway. The light kit is also easy, just run the wires from the engine under the car and fasten with wireties. For the money the M&G system is the best deal and it hooks up to tow in 10 seconds.

RE: Pilot and Flying J.....%$#&^%!

I do not understand why anyone would buy diesel from them. I never use them as their price is ALWAYS higher than any other. Let the truckers keep them in business, it's OK with me!

RE: What GPS should I get

Whatever you do "DO NOT BUY A MAGELLEN". You will get NO support if you need it, unless you enjoy talking to people in India who know nothing. Buy a Garmin and forget the others.
