RE: Up grading Carlisle tires

I replaced mine with Goodyear G614. A little expensive but I have over 10,000 miles on them and the only problem I have is a little wear on the inside of my left rear tire from an alignmenmt problem. They are G rated 12 ply tires that run at 110 psi. You wheels should be the same as mine and will support the 110psi.

RE: 04 dynasty

Take it to a good truck tire shop and replace the tires and check the alignment before you have a serious blow out!;)
I have to agree with replacing the tires as I'm pretty sure he has not put most of the miles on this DP. If the edge wear is from Goodyear's rivering/edge wear problem then doing an alignment may not be necessary. On tires this big it's easy to do a toe in measurement with a tape measure yourself. What is the Goodyear rivering/edge wear. I have Goodyear G614s on my 5th wheel and the left rear tire is wearing on the inside edge. I have had the alignment checked and all is weel there. All measurements are with in specs and the axel is no where nesr overloaded. I am stumped and so in my alignment shop.

RE: Camper Host/Work Camping Available in S. Ohio

This is a great opportunity for someone. This is a beautiful park next to the Ohio River. If we were not already camp hosting at Paint Creek State Park we would be there in a heart beat. Ohio treats their camphost great. Every year in September, the state parks department selects one park to host a campout for all the state park camphost. This year we at Paint Creek are hosting the state wide campout and it is going to be great. Looking forward to meeting the host from all the othe parks. Ohio has some of the nicest State Parks you will find anywhere.

RE: Buffalo,Wy to West Yellowstone Mt

By all means do the east entrance. I have never failed to see bears, moose and elk in the east side of the park. To me that is one of the prettier parts of the park. Like others have said, don't miss the Cody Museum.

RE: Left rear tire

Must be a big old pothole as I have never even came close to overloading. I have checked my weights many times, both axel and indiviual wheel weights. I know going across I-70 last summer I thought the whole under side was gonna come out of the truck and trailer the road was so rough. I will take it to shop that handle that and see if I can get it fixed before it completely wears out a 300 dollar tire. Thanks everyone.

Left rear tire

I notice today that after about 10,000 miles my left rear tire on my Fuzion is wearing faster on the inside of the tire. The other 3 tires are all wearing ok. Anybody have any idea why just the ine tire would wear so much more on the inside of the tire.

RE: Fuzion Recall

Towed the Fuzion 60 miles down to Holmans this morning for the recall to replace the gen transfer switch and when I got there, through no fault of the dealer, shipping mix up, they did not have the switch in stock. I'm thinking wasted trip but Brandy, the service rep, tells me that they will send a mobile repair man out to my house with the switch when it comes in. I won't have to make another 120 mile round trip. This is what I call great service. Yes it would have been better if they had the switch to start with but I'm happy with their effort. I would have had to take it in any way because they have to inspect the switch to see if it is one of the ones that is on the recall list. Still cost me 100 bucks because I could not stay out of the parts store and found some things I just couldn't live without. LOL

RE: What ERS will tow

They said they would not tow the 5th wheel!!! Left the 5th wheel along I 95 for over 3 hrs until someone from a CG about 10 miles away that had a truck with a hitch came and pulled it to the CG. Unless you have alot more trailer to bed rail clearance I do not see how a tow truck could get the front wheels of the tow vehicle off the ground without the trailer getting into the bed rails. Good Sams ERS does advertise they will take your tow vehicle and (Travel trailer), no mention of 5th wheel to a CG if the required service of your tow vehicle will take over several days. Then what is considered several days?I have had GS ERS for many years and year before last they towed my truck to the dealer twice and both times they towed my 5th wheel to the CG. One time it was on a Sunday so the dealer was closed so the towed the truck with the 5th wheel attached to the CG and came back the next day and towed the truck to the dealer. I have nothing ut good experience with GS ERS. I'm sure coachnet is just as good. Somebody gave out some bad info if they say they will not tow you camper. That's what these two companies are built on.

Fuzion Recall

Got a recall letter yesterday for my Fuzion to replace the generator transfer switch. I have already taken it in once for the transfer switch wiring recall. This one says that the loss of the neutral in the 240v circuit could cause appliance damage and overheating or fire. They will replace the switch with one supplied by Keystone. The old switch is model number IOTA ITS-50R. This recall supersedes recall NHTSA 10V-594 or Keystone 10-153.
I am taking mine in next week to Holmans for the fix.
New Recall number: Safety Recall 11V-577 and Safety Advisory 11-170.
Units covered ar 2009-2011.

RE: Paint Creek State Park

Not a problem for a 30 footer. The deck sites are ok but you don't have much of a flat area for chairs or other items as the deck sites are built so that their is a slope on each side. This is one of the nicest parks in the state. I am a camp host their and will be there the entire months of April, July and October. I have a 35 foot toy hauler. All the camp host are some of the beat people you will ever meet. We are ready and willing to help you any way we can. The campground has two camping areas, one for campers with pets and one for no pets. Great camp store with a friendly staff. We just put in a disc golf course last summer and the putt putt golf course in in great shape. Lots of trails for hiking and also have mountian bike trails.

We stayed at Mill Creek last summer and it is a nice over night stop. Easy access from the interstate and nice people running the campground.

RE: Good Sam ERS Works...However

I must be lucky because both times I've had to use my GS ERS they have been fantastic. Both time they were there within minuets and towed my 5th wheel to a campground and the truck to the nearest ford dealer. They made numerous calls to me to make sure everything was ok and that I was safe.

Talk about shady, they wrote the book. And their service department is worse than their sales department,
Which dealer are you talking about?

RE: RV Financing For My BAAAAAD Credit???

Bad things happen to good people so I won't try to pass judgment on your situation. That being said, do what ever it takes to try and get your credit rating back up. Then you can get what you want without being robbed by the high interest bandits out there. It's hard but can be done. This current economy has hurt a lot of good people that never thought they would be in money trouble. Hope everything works out for you soon. God bless you.

RE: Would you switch drivers while moving?

Many years ago as a young dumb RVer. I had a class C and the wife and I would do this on a stright section of interstate of course we were both a lot thinner then (LOL). After I got wiser I realized how really stupid this was and thank god nothing ever happened. It would be easier in a class A but still really stupid.
