RE: Cider with cinnamon

Try the Celestial Seasonings Gingerbread tea. Or one that has cinnamon. Just steep in the heated cider

Defining Retirement

I had a former coworker ask what retirement was like? So I told him every day was like the middle of a Three Day Weekend. Didn't work Yesterday, not working Today, ain't planning to work Tomorrow.

RE: Baby Boomers - Are you a Snowbird for 2011-2012 Season?

First year Snowbirding. I've reserved a lot at Sunscape in Casa Grande, AZ.
I've put my snowblower up for sale.

Prepaid Cell Service in Casa Grande, AZ

I need suggestions for a prepaid service. My TracFone apparently won't have service there. I'm looking for a 5 month service plan fairly cheap. Thanks, Flip

RE: Sunscape Rv Resort, Casa Grande, AZ

Thanks for the input. I've reserved a site for the season at Sunscape. Seems to be a great value for the bucks.
The park appears to have all the amenities I need and would use. At a later date I might decide to upgrade or downgrade. Although I doubt I'd go the long term boondocking in the desert.
Any suggestions for shopping and dining?
Thanks, Flip

Denver to Casa Grande, AZ

I've looked at several routes, I70 W then S., or I25 S then W., or another shorter route using state roads.
I'm thinking that with reasonable towing speed, the Interstates would be less stressful and fairly decent gas consumption. Time is not an issue. Two days, three, or four?
Thanks, Flip

Sunscape Rv Resort, Casa Grande, AZ

Any current or recent tenants there that would like to express some opinions? I checked rvparkreview and didn't find anything current.
Thanks for any info. Flip

RE: Summer Jobs winding down - would you come back?

I've had a great boss, but the job has been boring. A fairly slow visitor center isn't for me. Sometimes 3 or 4 hours without a visitor. I've enjoyed the interface with the public, and feel I've helped a lot of them.
Next season I will be applying for campground host type positions. I would really like to work for this Ranger district, maybe in a seasonal, paid position.

RE: Red Feather's/Deadman Road

I was just on Deadman Rd. yesterday. It's only open for the first 2.5 miles. There are some dispersed campsites accessable. About 1.75 miles in the road has a huge Mud Hole, my 4x2 PU bottomed out. So, dependant on your vehicle, there's limited access.
I would imagine that the good spots will be filled by late Thursday.
