RE: Onan 4000 carb pics
try to buy a manuel.
I replaced my carb with newone I bought,found out in the manuel
that I had to adjust the Gov arm and spring etc.
It had to be a certain way .
Don. mine is Marquis gold 7000 onan
Ps bought all these parts it wouldn't start, soon as got the parts delivered the darn thing started and ran and produced hydro, GO figure

I had to do this not long ago, there is a manual override switch
above the operate switch and crank ,the hole for crank is by ent.door
Someone greased mine before we got it and it picked up road gravel
etc. and sheared pins and then gears etc.
Had to replace all gears shafts and gears . The parts are available
took me three weeks of searching. The manufacters site AL-KO Corp.com
Very good company to deal with.
Hope your problem just minor.

No not the the face cover. The whole Black cover its hard to work on
through the front side.

Generator Cover Onan
I have a Onan Marquis Gold 7000.
I was wondering how you lift the cover up or off, instead
of having to pull the whole unit out.?? If it can be Done.

RE: Toad Charge -- House or Chassis ?
I installed a toad charge system and it works very well.
The only problem is the connectors from one unit to the other
corroaded and fell apart on trip from winter to florida as we in
Canada and upper states use salt in winter. Had to change and use a
weather proof joints.
