When towing, there is less sway with a 5er than a TT.
FYI - In most states it is legal to travel in the back of a 5er as long as the passenger has communication with the driver. It is not legal to ride in the back of a TT.
I rode in the back of our 5th wheel trailer once, when I through my back out.We used our walkie talkies for communication.
I do not recommend traveling in the back of a 5th wheel trailer. No seats belts for one. And it's noisy and bumpy. Definitely children should not travel in the back of the 5th wheel. Pets only in a crate that has been secured, although I wouldn't let my dogs travel back there either. Much too noisy and scary for them.

don't leave the black tank open. If you do the liquids drain out and you are left with a pyramid of poop you will then have trouble getting out of the tank.

Dump when full or just before breaking camp. Black tank first, then grey. Some RV's are equiped with two grey tanks, usually if you have a rear kitchen.
You can get disposable gloves in any drug store. We buy ours at Costco.

No worries Terry, I had enough $$ in the rally kitty to pay for the deposite this time. So the funds did not come out of my own pocket. Fingers crossed that your & Steve can make it.

Mid Calif. SAL Rally - Oct 12th & 13th 2012
The 19th bi annual Mid Calif. SAL Rally will be held Oct 12th & 13th 2012 at San Antonio Lake at the Harris Creek Group Campground, down by the lake. Sites will be assigned in the order in which rigs are signed up. All sites have water and 30 amp service hookups. A dump station is close by.
Cost $80.00 for Oct. 12th & 13th. Money will be collected at the end of summer. More information to follow.

RE: White gravy for breakfast biscuits?
I like to fry up some Jimmy Dean Hot sausage. Makes for a spicier gravy. Do not drain the grease off (add a little butter if you need more grease). Then sprinkle the meat and grease with "Wonder Flour" coating well. Wonder Flour is made for gravy and doesn't lump up like regular flour does. Brown flour slightly.
For a richer flavor I use half and half for the gravy. Slowly pour in the half and half a little at a time, stirring well. Keep adding the half and half until the gravy is the consistency you like. Season with black pepper (I like lots of pepper).
Pour over fresh homemade biscuits!

We prefer to cook over charcoal, the flavor is much better than gas.
However, we camp often with a small group of friends who all have Baby Q gas grills. They would all say let's eat and everyone would fire up their grills. When our coals were ready to cook on, they'd all be sitting down to eat. We ended up getting a Baby Q too.
