RE: Pop-up camper towing

Pop ups can be a pain to pack to tow. We had a fully loaded 03 Coleman pop up with a front trunk; think sway nightmare. Before you got a roll of toilet paper in it, it was over it's axel ratings. If you loaded up the front compartment to get the proper tongue weight, it far exceeded the weight that should be in the pop up. Add that to the single axel and it was hard as all get out to get the darn thing loaded properly. We got used to changing tires often and bought a 600 lb tw Equal-i-zer hitch which we still have if you are interested. 		CrazyAboutOrchids 07/19/11 07:30am Towing
