RE: Handy Hints, Gadgets, Products & Gizmos

I have read many suggestions on how to keep toilet paper or paper towels from unrolling while traveling. Here is what I do:
I take a straight pin with a colored head and stick it in the the last sheet showing on the roll. The colored head helps locate it when we arrive. To keep track of the pin, I slide it in the side of the roll, parallel to the sheets, near the cardboard tube. Stays in place there until we travel again. Works every time.
All I do is flatten out the roll before putting it on the holder. It will not unroll on it's own.

RE: Storing Keurig while trraveling

We keep the mini plus on the counter. The rubber legs keep it from moving but since it sits facing the front I us a square rubber jar gripper under the front part during travel for security. (the part that holds the cup)

RE: Chev Colorado pickup

Does anyone pull fuses on the colorado when towing?
My 04 owners manual says to pull the RDO and Cluster fuses, but I see newer models don't mention fuses.

RE: Has anybody tried the 1940 Census online website?

All of the images are grouped by the ED.
This site has the easiest ED finder I've found:

Good Luck.

RE: Mini Coffee Brewer

We also have a Mini plus Keurig in the MH. We use a solofill cup with our own coffee instead of the My K cup. Found it at Bed Bath and Beyond. It fits into the Keurig just like a Kcup. You don't have to remove the K cup holder. It uses less coffee and tastes better. Of course we bring along Plenty of Donut shop coffee because we love it.

RE: Sorry Camper

In 2006 we traded our C for a fifth wheel and after 3 years we went back to a C!
We liked the fifth wheel but like the C a whole lot more. We did take a big loss but it was worth it.

RE: Thinking of selling C and buying 5th wheel..good idea????

Well we had a C for over 10 years and went to a fifth wheel for the room. After only 3 years we went back to a class C. It's just so much easier.

RE: Hurricane Preparedness

If you are in the path and haven't moved you trlr. other than filling your tanks with water you should also lower the nose as far down as you can. Did that a few years ago with ours and it did fine parked up as close to the house as we could get it. If I was expecting very high winds I'd also run a hose in and fill the grey water tank for weight.

RE: Ladder mount bike rack question

I did search for ladder bike rack. Got nothin. Maybe because I searched in the "C" forum. The rack I'm looking at will hold them vertically.

Ladder mount bike rack question

Can't use a bumper mount because that is pulling a trailer to haul the golf cart. There is room for only one bike on the trailer so I'm thinking of hanging a ladder mount bike rack on the back of the rig.
I just don't know if the weight of one or two bikes hanging on the ladder will cause a problem later on. Anyone using this type of bike rack for a few years? TIA
