RE: Class C Pros and Cons

We switched from a TT (non 5er sorry) to a 31 ft. C and wouldn't go back if you paid me. We tow a Jeep Wrangler behind us, you don't even know it's there and compared to hooking up a TT or 5er the tow vehicle is a piece of cake. I'm hooked up in 2 minutes and we go. Now I will say that the only downside to a class C is the amount of foot room for the driver and passanger in the front. Also if you have a driver side slide you lose the amount of space to retract the driver seat back. I'm short (5'7) so no biggie for me, anyone taller and I could see where it could be an issue. That being said I would NEVER go back to a towable, but we are looking to move from our C up to an A for the roominess of an A. Good luck and enjoy your retirement! :B

RE: Natural Bridge SP Campground, KY?

We are going to NB soon and camping at Middlefork Campground. You would fit there fine. As far as hiking, the locals are saying that snakes (poisonous types, cottonmouth, rattlers) are bad this year near water (not in campground but in hiking areas) due to the excessive heat. They are treking towards the water. Just an FYI so be vigilant :W

RE: Where Did you Propose ?

My DW and I got engaged at my friends Irish Pub/B&B in Adare Ireland. We had it set up so that the bar keep new about it as well as the local playing live music that night. After an hour or so of him playing (acoustic guitar) and us and our friends drinking he (the singer) came over to our table and asked who (insert wife's name) was? Everyone pointed to her and she pointed to one of the other girls at the table. He then sang her a tune and when he was done I got down on thee ole' knee and proposed :B (she said yes :h) and we did'nt buy a drink the rest of the night, it was on the locals whom we had never met before that night!!

RE: Any adult beverages while overnighting at Walmart?

We do the Wal-Mart option on ever vacation and always have a few cocktails in the coach before bed time to unwind. No problem just be sure to pay homage to the store the next morning as a way to say thank you!! :B

Clinton Connecticut to Liberty Harbor

Hi, we are traveling in a couple of weeks from Clinton Connecticut to Liberty Harbor Campsites and have heard of tunnel restrictions and bad GPS info to get to Liberty Harbor :h. What is the best way coming down I-95 to safely get 3 motorhome towing toads off of I-95 into Liberty Harbor? We called them and they are of no help. Any experiences appreciated :B

RE: Camping and sites of interest in KY, please

I am getting excited to go! I am having a rough time finding a nice campground around Louisville. There are some but the reviews are terrible. Where would you camp if you wanted to kick around the Louisville area for a few days? John Taylorsville Lake State Park :W

RE: Camping and sites of interest in KY, please

If you want to stay near the Cincinnati area and take in a Reds game or visit the zoo etc. then Big Bone Lick State Park (just outside of Richwood KY) is a small park (55 to 60 sites) but very clean and friendly staff. About 35 minutes from downtown Cincy. Front sites are full hookup (maybe 10 of them) and the rest are electric and water. Enjoy! :B
