My Winner's Circle was recalled for this. Not sure that I had it done. :)

So you're not worried? I'm thinking it's been over 2 yrs since the recall and we just found out about it yesterday. I'm wondering if we really need to do it too.
I called Dutchmen, left a message, they never called me back. :(
And then we thought we could replace it ourselves, but it probably wouldn't be covered if something did happen.

Going to skip this weekend, tired of the busy weekends. Going down the following weekend to Gordons. Hope to have really smooth sand!!!!!!
I don't blame you. I hate going on holiday weekends. But we are going to stay the week, so hopefully we will have a couple less crowded days. :)

Defect Summary:
DUTCHMEN IS RECALLING 2,735 MY 2005-2010 N'TENSE, VICTORY LANE, WINNER'S CIRCLE, WILD THING, FOUR WINDS, AND DUTCHMEN RECREATIONAL TRAILERS. THESE TRAILERS CONTAIN A FUEL DISPENSING SYSTEM WITH A SHUT-OFF SWITCH WHICH IS NOT SPARK PROTECTED AND IS MOUNTED IN THE NOZZLE STORAGE COMPARTMENT OF THE FUEL DISPENSING SYSTEM. GASOLINE SPILLED ON THE SWITCH, OR GASOLINE VAPORS WHICH MIGHT BUILD UP IN THE VICINITY OF THE SWITCH DURING DISPENSING FUNCTIONS, MAY CREATE A FIRE OR EXPLOSION IF A SPARK IS GENERATED BY THE SWITCH.
Consequence Summary:
THE RESULTING FIRE OR EXPLOSION COULD RESULT IN SERIOUS BURNS AND POSSIBLY DEATH.
Corrective Summary:
DEALERS WILL PROVIDE AN IGNITION PROTECTED SWITCH AND INSULATED TERMINALS TO REPLACE THE CURRENT SWITCH. THE REMEDY WILL BE PERFORMED FREE OF CHARGE. THE RECALL IS EXPECTED TO BEGIN ON OR BEFORE JULY 9, 2009. OWNERS MAY CONTACT DUTCHMEN AT 1-866-869-1109.

Dutchmen Victorylane Recall
Just joined Good Sam Club and found out there is a recall on our TH. It gave me a number to call, but since it's Sunday and they're closed, I thought I would ask you guys. :)
It's for the fuel system switch/storage :E
I'm just wondering who they send you to? Only the manufacturer can fix recalls? The closest one to us now is 60 miles away. (I guess they closed the one that was only a few miles away) :(

I don't know when the last time you drove north with bikes strapped down was. I can tell you that I recently picked up a nice 1098R for a steal in NB, just down the road from you.
I towed it back home to Roseville on I5 North and that section of road is the worst section of interstate that I have EVER had to drive on while towing bikes. I've done it plenty of times before, but it seems that they have really let the road deteriorate now.
I have a nice dual axle Featherlite trailer that usually rides very smooth. I have checkerboard flooring since I use the trailer mainly to tow bikes, and the flooring was ripped up and a mess after getting home. All from the rear tire bouncing violently up and down.
I've got some Condor chocks and had the bike tied down with 4 straps up front just to be safe, but the rear really bounced around. Now I've got to take out all the e-channel and redo the flooring in the rear...yikes.
Just a heads up when you tie your bikes down to drive that same section of road. May not be an issue for you since your tow will be much heavier, but you never know.
By the way, I ended up ditching the idea to take an RV to the races and just decided to camp on Fox Hill. Gonna ride down with a group of guys, but decided against the Ducati Parade Lap this year, I can't leave early enough to get there for it. So it's tent camping for me this time around :)
