Quick question, being a Good Sam Member, one of the perks is free shipping orders over $100.

Ordered a Surge protector ($200+ order) -still was charged $9.00 (stated large/overweight), would not of thought a surge protector, would be considered large/over-weight item.

What determines large/over-weight?

Do you order it online? I had something similar happen to me. When I called to complain about being charged shipping, I was told that it was glitch in the website. They refunded the shipping and told me in the future to call my orders in instead of using the website. How can a company survive in the 21st century with websites like that? There are plenty of website designers available that can fix this problem cheaper than having your customers go elsewhere..

"We have reviewed your order and the item your purchased does not qualify for current free shipping offer. This item shows a $9 flat rate shipping fee next to a red truck symbol on the product page on our website. Items with this symbol are excluded from the current free shipping offer. Again, we apologize for any inconvenience."



So I guess, if you are Good Sam Member and are expecting free shipping on orders over $100, don't ignore the RED TRUCK SYMBOL, which appears to be a flat shipping rate and over-rides the Good Sam benefit of free shipping.

Will update further, if I hear otherwise or I am corrected.
