I bought my Roadmaster towbar used off craigslist for a very good price and the base plates can be had new for a reasonable price if you shop around and are very easy to install.

However, it looks like the pickup upgrade won't happen.
So, a new tow bar won't be required, and this thread is no longer needed.

Had the Demco and was very happy with it, but, were I to do it again the ReadyBrake with integrated braking system would be the only tow bar purchased.
