I recently had a chance to buy (steal) this TT. No title (came from a junkyard so I won't need one in GA), no make, no model, no year. The only info I have is from the tag next to the door....RV 293298 VIN 436. No numbers on the tongue (cleaned old paint off about 1/3 of it starting in the usual VIN locations).Depending on the decade, anything but the 80s, I would like to do a vintage restore if I can find out when it might have been built. Thanks for any help you can give me.

Pictures are likely more helpful than any number so far as identifying the make/brand- every mfr. used/uses different number sequences.

If you're seeking I.D. in hopes of tracking down manuals, etc., you'd probably do better to simply post/ask about whatever system/part you're trying to work on. Most are generic, used in many RV's. Somebody here will likely be able to help on specific questions.

If you have some idea as to what make it could possibly be, you could call a manufacturer. Our buddy's. Bought an RV, had no idea at all what it was. They called Monaco, gave them whatever info they found on the unit and within the day a gentleman called back with model, make, year etc. They had few numbers to go on. It was not a monaco either, LOL

Thanks you two. There is a pic on my profile of the trailer. Now I just have to upload some to somewhere I can link to from here to put more here. I actually don't even have a manufacturer either on this one. Nothing besides the numbers listed in the original post. Maybe I can figure out how to get more pics on here and then get some suggestions as to manufacturer, model, decade etc lol.

Most all of the trailers come with an installed appliance package usually stuck away in a cabinet or drawer somewhere. There is usually a brochure sheet on each of the installed appliances in this sometimes large folder.

Also most manf have their items sheet sometimes behind the kitchen area cabinet door.

Usually next to the entrance door is the MODEL NUMBER for the trailer labeled to the outside wall...

I guess you don't even know who makes it huh...

Shoot us picture of it if you can....

Looks like an early Taurus but not 100% sure - need some more pictures around it.

That pic was cut-and-pasted from your profile- you can do that with any image that's already on the internet somewhere by using the "Advanced post form" at the top of the reply box. That takes you to a page with an upload image icon at the top of the box.

Only works for net-stored images- no upload directly from computer etc.

P.S.

No clue here as to make or model...
