Hi [emoticon]
This is my first post here so a big hello to everyone.
Excuse me for some newbie questions!
I am in England and want to buy a U.S. Bunkhouse Fifth Wheeler as we want to live in one all year round. My wife and I have two toddlers.
I will be looking at a non-bunkhouse Palomino Sabre next week in England to see what it looks like.
As we will be living in it, would it be better to get a four or five slide? I have not seen a five slide yet?
Can anyone recommend a Sabre? How does it stack up compared to others?
Thanks [emoticon]

Welcome to the forum.

Do you have a budget to work with? That will help determine a lot!

Hi WoodGlue,

I am not restricted to a budget but I suppose I will be restricted to the ones that I can have delivered to the UK by the UK agents when I locate them.
The most important thing is that we get one that will last for as long as possible and do the job for us. It will be our home!

That puts a new spin on it. You want to import a US made 5th wheel into the UK. Someone here will step in with some more info about exporting from the US to the UK.

As far as slides go, I'd get as much room and as many slides as you can. Length too!

Wide slides on your street side should be a consideration. That is where the hookups are, a neighbor, the trees. Give consideration to your door side,as it is your space. Large street size slides because of landscaping or site drainage issues can cause you to have to park off optimal design of your space.

I am not sure which make and model to go for.
I was told the Palomino Sabre is the only aluminium frame made and this is better than others?

Hi SDcampowneroperator,

We will be on a seasonal all-year pitch with enough space for slides.

BayHill by Evergreen offers many slides and is also Aluminum framed.
