What is your unit? Why can't you just give us the year/make/model? So much easier that way...

I assumed people referred to your profile when posting for the unit info. I guess it makes it easier if it's in the post. 2012 Thor ACE.

Think I'll just run a few gals in the FW gravity fill and run it through. Few bucks and a few minutes could save me a lot more problems as well as LP since I won't need to run the furnace.

Hi,

If possible just suck up antifreeze with the pump.

I prefer to blow the lines with compressed air first. That clears the city water connection. Then I use the pump to install the anti freeze. I immediately blow the lines again and save as much of the anti freeze as I can--leaving only the toilet and toilet spray lines full of the pink liquid. I rewinterize several times per year.

I would winterize and not worry about it. It won't take you long, and you won't need much pink stuff. My coach is a REAL pain to winterize because of two toilets, residential fridge with ice maker, washer, dishwasher, outside sprayer, 3 sinks + shower, aquahot, and gravity fill fresh water tank that requires 10 gallons of pink stuff to keep the pump from sucking air (I can get a lot of it back at the end by draining the fresh water tank)....

I can tell your from experience that the water valve for the ice maker is very susceptible to freezing. 29F did it for us.

On the other hand, it's an easy repair and covering in a tech bulliten and will not occur if the fride is left running. Basically, you unscrew the water inlet fitting and reseat the flow restrictor assy.

You will know when the ice maker starts overflowing, ice forms in the compartment, and the ejector things freeze and won't eject.
