I can appreciate the negative comments about using Red Max as a RV (for lack of better word) polish when it is obviously marketed as a floor sealer/polish. But I'm at a loss from those who criticize it but haven't used it or seen the results.
Saying that: if I had a nice full body paint MH with nice clearcoat finish, I'd use a good quality wax and stand back and admire the superior finish achieved with little effort.
But my MH is 11 years old now and its used fulltime and I've waxed the lil' bugger at least 3 times a year with paste wax and mostly all of it shined very well, but....there is some areas, especially the front cap, that just won't take a shine anymore.
I used the Red Max application a little over a year ago and it really looks as good today as the day I finished the application. The front cap looks as good as the rest of the MH.
If, IF the finish starts to dull going forward, and at some time, I'm sure it will, I will first wash and apply a couple more coats. If that doesn't work (I think it will) then I'll use the Red Max remover and reapply four coats again.
And no I don't think it would be the best choice on a Porsche. But I did use it on the black step panel on my Suzuki and its still nice and black.

I used an old worn out flannel sheet. I cut it up into 18 inch squares, and used a spray bottle to apply RMP to the cloth, and voila. No lint.

I'm in the process of re-doing ours. I didnt do the roof the first time, so now I've cleaned that once & going to wash it again & then do the Red Max seal on that painted aluminum roof.
The Totally Awesome cleaner, is a good strong cleaner, so you got to be careful with that stuff.
That cleaner is what I used back in 2010, to clean the sides with & man the ground was white afterwards with dead faded paint, it was clean though.
About three days working off & on & she was looking like a new clear coat paint job.
Someone mentioned way back in some other thread post, if you wanted to remove the Red Max, all you need is some amonoia soap, well it aint working, not right anyways cause all I'm getting is streaks.
I think I'll stick with the Totally Awesome & rinse quick, I know that works.

I have 98 Mountain Aire 37 foot and have used the Red Max a year ago, after 14 years it was pretty dull,dull, took a day to strip all the old 14 years of waxing and then it was really dull, but after 4 coats of Red Max #3 it is better than when I pick it up new, I have put 2 more coats on and all I have to do now is wash, bugs come with just the hose, will never go back to wax, I can still buy it a Lowes.
