Ok,,,DON'T LAUGH!!!,,,,I've been making grilled cheese sandwiches all my life and i'm at my whits end!

Were down in florida this winter for the first time so everything is somewhat differnt to some extent but the biggest is the sticky grilled cheese!I don't know if it's the bread or that were using country chock margarine or if we have gremlins working their bad ju-ju to rob me of my child-hood classic but something gonna' change!! As i write this post my poor wife Frau Blücher is stickin' one at this very moment. Before we came down i cooked hundreds of grilled cheeses on the sam frying pan to perfection but down here,,,forget about it,they stick to the pan like there glued on with that stuff that the guy glues his head to the beam and dangles with!!

HELP!!!!

Don't use a spread. Use marg or butter. I use Land-o-lakes with canola oil in it.

you know you are only one molecule from being that same thing as the tub the margarine is in. I know it's cheaper than butter, but butter is better for you. we don't even have the other in the house. no use for it

Butter is the best. If you don't want to use butter, at least use real margarine, not 'spread'.

Get down on your one good knee and beg Frau Blucher for a new non-stick pan.
