You have got to be kidding... Count yourself lucky if that's all that's wrong. You are going to haul it back to the dealer for something that will take 15 minutes to clean??? Sure glad I'm not your dealer. Let the DW clean it as it will build character and you will know it's done to perfection. OCD is putting it mildly.

I'm glad your not my dealer as well. For the money I paid this should be spotless.. I shouldn't have posted anything cause all the sudden I'm in the wrong.. I didn't pay for a used trailer with issue I bought a brand new one.. And spots and stains aren't okay with me.. I wouldnt buy new carpet for me house and come homes to stains and be okay with it. I wouldn't buy a car and be okay with stains on the seat and the floor..
But thank you for your comments.. I expect brand new when I buy brand new..

You are absolutely right. A new car wouldn't be delivered to you that way, and you should expect no less in a brand new RV.

As your dealer I'd be ticked if this is all that's wrong with your new trailer. Having read all of your previous posts I understand you are excited about all this and it's new to you, but unfortunately I doubt those are your only problems. I guess we got off to a bad start, but thinking you are due a different new trailer because of the pictures you posted. Those of us who have been doing this for a long time would be jumping for joy if that's all that's wrong.

And this is why I posted here because I don't know.. Im not sure what the procedure is on something like this.. I just want to make sure I'm doing everything I should. This was a big big purchase for us..
I didnt mean to come off rude just taken back by this is all. It felt like I should just say no big deal and not say anything..

For the record the crazy dw wanted me to ask about new trailer.

Those folks at KZ must not have wash stations in the assembly area. My KZ arrived with many fingerprints on the walls, mostly from caulk. Even had them on the door screen. 15 minutes later they were gone, much easier to just clean it than hook it up and run it back to the dealer.

Well dude. I'd take it back as well, and I would expect the grease to be cleaned off.Or a new PANNEL installed. Yes they can replace just a pannel, without replacing the whole tent end.

You will not have a CHOICE but the dealer should be able to fix any problems you have with the trailer. If you buy a new car and it has an issue they don't get you a new one they fix what is wrong with it. Now if they CAN'T fix it there may be some negotiating to do. I can pretty much guarantee you that NOBODY has ever had a trailer replaced because it has a stain on the mattress. If it can't be cleaned you might get a new mattress.

wow, that's all that's wrong and you're asking about getting another trailer?

consider yourself lucky that you only had a few fixable things.
i don't see anything major to warrant another replacement trailer.
finding little things like this, are pretty normal in today's RV world.

So what you're saying Dan is it's ok if you buy a brand new car with stains on the driver seat !!!! In my opinion. I don't think it's right.

Dre

no, that's not what i'm saying. i had numerous issues with my Roo which i bought new.
i took it in to have these issues dealt with and they were.
and the OP should take it in and have it fixed.
but asking for a new trailer before giving the dealer a chance to fix a few minor issues!

my point is that if that's all that is wrong with it, consider yourself lucky. a lot of us would wish for that few of things wrong.
with the poor quality control that RV manufacturers have, all new rigs will have something wrong. sawdust, foam, pieces of veneer, poor wiring are just a few things that many new rigs have.

and you can't compare a HTT with a car. auto workers make way more money than RV factory workers.
there's no comparison with the quality control between the auto industry and the RV industry.

I believe if the trailer could have been opened and inspected at the dealer's lot all issue's would have been resolved there.
Grease and stains are unacceptable in a brand new trailer and surely will be taken care of.

I've owned several brand new trailers and can only recall greasy fingerprints around the AC unit but never stains and grease on the tent-ends.

Give your wife a big hug and tell her You'll take care of it.

bbtwalker,
Maybe you probably shouldn't let them install any new items till you are satisfied with the "fix ups"!
Good luck

I agree I doubt she'll see a new trailer out of this. But yes take it back to the dealer and let him clean it, this is something he is probably used to doing anyways. Now if it don't come out then he will either offer to replace the panels or if not that serious of a stain you may get something like your first bearing greasing done free or what ever you're having installed right now done for free etc. But I agree the black stain is the worse, the mattress stain is hard to see and the trim, well thats normal for some manufactors.
