I got 36.576% off my 2012 Montana 39ft. model 3625RE with 4 slides when I bought it back in 10/2011. I was and still am very pleased with the price and the unit. I had no trade in and had my own financing. I think both of these helped a lot with the final price I got.

You have to compare build sheets. You can't just look at one build sheet and believe what the salesman wrote. Once you compare the build sheets you will know pretty much what the real MSRP is. I have seen MSRP values that are $5K or $10 off. I toss those aside and don't even concider those RV dealers. If they will be dishonest on that issue you can bet they will be dishonest in other areas as well.

Ed,
Here are my observations regarding (Northwood) Arctic Foxes. First consider the model you are interested in is new, therefore deep discounts are not likely. Also as a example take a look on E-Bay. You will only find 4 currently. Not one 5er. Not like other brands where you have a choice of many. Then look on the direct web sites such as RV Direct or RV Wholesalers. They don't sell them. I have owned 2 AF's, and on both I got a 20% discount. As stated above discounts vary, however don't be disappointed if prices are not as flexible as you want. In addition, your not going to find a wide network of dealers as a lot of other brands. But good luck on your quest.

Landmark MSRP
Bighorn MSRP
Big Country MSRP
MSRP's are listed in the brand specfic "Prospective Owners" page. A couple of things to watch are what dealers tag on for "Dealer prep" and shipping.
We got about 35% off what is listed.

Since you appear to be looking at an Arctic Fox, I suggest that you instead get quotes from three Washington dealers and compare them to each other. Sumner RV tends to be the lowest price for western Washington and they do lots of long distance sales. YOu could compare them to Thunder RV and Broadmoor Rv and see who comes out best. MSRP sheets can be fiddled with. Also, few units on the lots are exact matches for each other. One may have more options, Figure out exactly what you need and then send them emails asking them for bids. Then you can have a meaningful conversation with them and decide who offers the best deal.

Remember we all want a good deal but price isn't everything. I would rather give up little money and have a dealer that I think will treat me fair, should I have a problem down the road. But notice I did say LITTLE, I don't want them sending their kids to college because of me.

Just beware...whether buying new or used and trading in. We found a 30 foot 2010 Keystone Cougar last year that we wanted to buy...it was a beauty. The salesman said we could get it for $28,000. When we got back to his office to discuss the final price with a trade-in he said the trailer was $32,000. Pissed me off....we left...with no more discussion.

Percent off MSRP is a joke in this industry.
When we were shopping we looked at 3 different dealers in our area at identically the same RV. Each one told us a different "MSRP". Two of the three actually showed us the "dealer invoice" and the numbers were all different for the identical options at both dealers!
Would you rather get 25% off the $85,000 MSRP and pay $63,750
Or 20% off the $75,000 MSRP and pay $60,000
Don’t get fooled by % off MSRP, look at the bottom line!
