She had quite a rough day yesterday...she stayed in hospital on a morphine drip and IV fluids...she was very swollen and they were quite concerned...but she is a trooper ...the edema is down, she ate some breakfast and wanted out of there ! Her pre-op bloods showed an elevation in her BUN ( hopefully from dehydration ) but they felt the surgery needed to proceed as her eye had increased in size again....at this point I do not see any problems with the vision in the right eye...
Thanks for all the prayers and positive thoughts...I am a firm believer ....

Poor baby! But I'm glad she's out of there. Continued prayers and good thoughts for an uneventful, and speedy recovery.

Bless her heart!!! Hopefully she will recover quickly. My granddog, a 5 yr old basset, ultimately had to have both her eyes removed a couple of years ago and she has adjusted very well. Has no problem at all going to the pantry for her treats when she is at my house!!
