That post made me chuckle a bit.. I'm not a good morning person, and if I was out relaxing at a camp ground, I would not expect them to be waking me up at 7:30!! I would probably march my unhappy ass right to the office and make it clear that if they did that again, I would be rolling down the road, and also making anyone I could aware of their practices..

Carefree RV Resorts
6991 E. Camelback Road
Suite B-310
Scottsdale, AZ 85251

There is the address. A formal written complaint to the main office with a copy to the Dunedin office will kill the noise, or at least stop the noise till after quiet hours.

How's that old song go that one of these days I'm going to get up and shoot the bugler. They use to play a wake up song at our MI Samborees at 7AM on Saturdays till a sheriff deputy drove in threaten to lock up the individual if he played it again. He didn't know a few of us asked for the deputy to come by.

The problem is that Carefree employees think its OK to go up and down the roads in a golf cart at 7:30 using a PA playing a bugle reveille and announcing that its time to wake up and get to the rec center for a breakfast.

This is every day?

I'm having a hard time believing that any "Recreational" Park would do this as a matter of course....

I would get up at 7 and be waiting with a water blaster. If several people did that they might rethink.

Water blaster? I might be waiting with a baseball bat!

If the guy sleeps at the place, I am nasty enough to do something like go up to his rig around 3am and blast an air horn, or play some heavy metal at full volume.

My mistake, I should have said....
No, every other Saturday. If it was every day I would call out my old Marine unit. They would just love to get even with a bugler.

Why don't you get up 6 AM and start blowing the horn, especially if it is an air, horn and tell them you would like breakfast a little earlier in the day.

Such an announcement would be hard to do with a microphone shoved down their throat. Be glad they didn't start mowing the lawn. I've run into that on more than one occasion.

Well, durn it...sounds like a place we would not go to. I'll make a note of that in the Woodalls book--cross them out with red ink! I most certainly would show up at the office and toot a horn in thier ear! I'd unhook the rig, prep to leave, and demand my money back! I agree...the more folks complain at the campground the better!
