My daffodils are starting to sprout. Yesterday it was 50, today 55 & nature is messed up. Now when frost comes I guess everything will be killed I'm sure things will even out weather wise, but I'm worried about the long term effects of this warm spell on plants.
Last year's Winter was brutal around here, but that we are prepared for.
let's hope for the best.

We've got something coming up. I hope it's the crocus (crocuses?).

Similar problems across the USA.

Jet stream is staying way north so not much winter weather happening.

Some places are still waiting for snow........

Mother nature knows much more about her family and how it works then we do.
Don't fool with Mother Nature. If every year was the same as the preceding then we would get more bored then we already do now.
Ain't change interesting?

Ours are up about 6 inches with lots of buds. I'm afraid they are in for a shock though.

Daff's in Atlanta are a bit confused too. Blooming like mad everwhere, but the talking heads are saying it's too early!! Oh well, love to see them!

Daffodils do this every year in the South. If it gets cold it won't hurt them.

Our bulbs are popping through as well. Noticed just today that the pear trees, apple trees and plum trees are setting buds. Supposed to be 70 degrees here tomorrow. Very unusual for February. Frost gonna come and no apples, pears or plums. Bah Humbug.

We've had daffodils with snow on them. Sure does make a pretty picture. My daffodils next to the west facing wooden fence are just about to burst open. Some in the front facing south are up 2 or 3 inches. Weather channel this morning said theres a change coming in about 2 weeks. Don't put your woolies away just yet.
