I use
-RVCompanion to keep track of what campgrounds we stay at and add details/little trip log to each entry. it has a leveler, flashlight, you can make Checklists and keep track of RV maintenance or whatever in the App as well. I mainly use it for a Trip log.
I also have "Camp Where" it is pretty good to show all the different types of campgrounds on a map.
I also have "AllStays, camp&RV" and "State Parks"

Thinking about buying a satellite dish on a tripod. The Satfinder would be useful. Maybe it's already mentioned...

See video.

AllStays - Camp & RV is the best all around app for the iPad. Don't think it works on the iphone, however.
rvparking.com, campwhere, rvpark finder, woodall's are all similar.
iRV2 Forum app
Road Ahead
TV Towers
Wi-Fi Finder
Google Maps is fantastic for finding anything.
Navigon
Find Friends
Star Walk - for finding the stars and planets
GoSatWatch - shows you the satellites overhead at dawn and dusk
Wolfram Sun Exposure - for figuring out if you need sunscreen
Maplets - for maps of state parks
onmyway - keeps others posted on your arrival times.
LocalEats - tells you the best places to eat.
HeyTell - fun app for communications
Skype
Dropbox - to sync your files
GoodReader - to read all your .pdf files such as camera manuals, car and coach manuals, etc.
Evernote - Take photos of your drivers license, passports, license plates, registration, credit cards, etc. and file them in evernote in case of emergency.
Skitch - makes it easy to sketch drawings and maps
Notepad - I keep my shopping list on it and reminders for things I need to fix or improve when I return.

I find myself using the iPhone pretty much when traveling with the RV. Thought I could share my apps here and maybe you have other apps that are useful as well.

What I use is:
* Tomtom for navigation together with a Magellan carkit
* Clinometer for leveling RV
* Checklist
* Gas manager for keeping track of mileage
* Walkie talkie for getting directional assistance from DW while backing up,...
* Flashlight
* Desk clock
* Skype for calling at a free wifi hotspot
* Motion-x for finding back your RV in the great outdoors
* Music while driving
* Movies and series when camping in bad weather
* Browsing rv.net at a free wifi hotspot
* Camera - 8M-pixle picture and HD video taking

Anyone have the same/other apps that are useful?

Any good camping/travel etc apps for Blackberry?

How about "Where Am I?" for satellite setup? Have never used it since we don't own a cell phone, but I've heard it's a nice little app.

I wish someone would come out with a device I could put in TT and it would connect to iPhone to help level while trying to park it.

One more big plus for All Stays Camp& RV - best $6.00 you will ever spend in RVing - particularly if you have an iPad. I has everything in it and is available for android as well per their web site. It has most - perhaps all - of the "All Stays" RV related info integrated into a single comprehensive app.

Bobmacc, I cannot find the app you mentioned. I found one for hotels but not RV. What is the exact name?

The correct name is "Allstays Camp and RV".
