Why go north of Houston? If you go an hour south you can camp on the beach at several parks in and around Galveston.

There are a few off 45,but very loud do being close to the fwy.Driving anywere in the houston area is task,al least every time we visited family.

Because we are visiting wifes cousin that lives in Tomball Tx. After a couple of days there, we will be heading for San Antonio. We have located Corral RV Park which is only 5 minutes from cousins house.
