Tooltime and others that read this thread, NAPA has a corporate "contact us" on their website. We should take time and send them an email mentioning Tyler. Tooltime, do you know exactly which NAPA you were at along I-10 in the Palm Springs area? Service and attitude like this is hard to find in todays world!

I had the same thing happen to me, alternator failure in Edson Alberta. Went to the Napa Store there and they didn't have the right Alt. but got one from another Napa in Hinton Alberta. They have a rebuild shop right there. Great service and very helpful staff as well. It was above and beyond duty for that fellow to come out and check on you and make sure you got going.

As a former employee; store manager turned district manager for Genuine Parts Co. parent company of NAPA, this story makes me proud. I worked for them in the Dallas - Ft. Worth area for many years. That store and manager exemplifies the reputation NAPA has always worked so hard to establish, whether it be with an independently owned business or a corporate owned store. Good job Tyler!

Thank you for sharing your experience with us.

The OP mentioned that Tyler's family owned three franchises in the area. The way you build business is by selling a good product and giving good customer service. It sounds like Tyler and family is well aware of what the public wants.

Hats off to Tyler and hats off to the OP for posting some good news insted of a rant.

Nice folks work at our local Napa. Last time I needed something, the gal at the counter made a mistake (said she had my serpentine belt in stock)and when I went to pick it up, she couldn't find it in the back room. I worked in auto parts business for years and I know these things happen sometimes.

She said, "come back in 2 hrs. and I'll have it for you", which I did, and she did. Even applied a discount.
