The slow-stix should be able to carry that small camera and eleminate the need for a spotter. I use a much smaller camera on a Easy Star, (half plane, half glider) and it takes very stable pictures also, not nearly the same resolution as yours. Great photos, we want to see more.

We're heading to Arizona desert in March. When I go to the desert it is to get away from crowds, get enough of that in the city everyday.

NO THANKS! Good... There are hundreds of thousands of people enjoying themselves here. No room for those who won't.
Hershey: You probably saw the Slo-Stick in the "hanger".. Originally that was the plan, but the Quad is a really stable platform that can be reasonably parked at altitude. I have the GoPro set for 1sec stills, so I can move it around and just do a slow rotation. I just need a LOT more practice. We tried a tiny little cam on the Stick last year, and while it did work, there is a lot of vibration to deal with.
Was that your glider pix of Q I saw on YouTube awhile back?

DW and I had a fun time at the RV show and flea markets. Rode our bikes and did a lot of walking. Manage to cook with my Dutch Oven for our group. Really nice sunrises and sunsets during our stay.
Must say DW was not sure about the trip, gets the heebie jeebies with crowds. She enjoyed the trip!
