I have a 2005 Chevy duramax dually which I am selling and bought a Freightliner 4 door. Cat engine 6 speed allison leather, air seats, suspension, cab. 130 gallons fuel. 30 grand less than anything the big 3 is putting out.

No on the chevy and yes on the FL and get to tell the weight police to bite me.

No. The DW didn't want a DRW, but I did. Now, in retrospect, the DW would go with the DRW, crew cab F350. We bought the truck first and the trailer second. Turned out we could have gotten a decked out Carriage Cameo for the same money! Too much trailer for the truck we had. I wasn't prepared to take the hit on trading the SRW for a DRW at that time. Boy, was she sorry she insisted on the SRW then!

We love our Expeditions.
When one of the 03s got t-boned we didn't even discuss alternatives, just started looking at new Expys to buy. (boy can they take a hit. Guy was doing 60 and hit so hard on my door that it totaled 3 vehicles. All I got was a bruise)

A few feet of snow, that's fine, I have a button for that. 4x4 trail, no problem that looks fun. Need seating for 8 adults, can do that too.

The 07 with out a tow package did so well in the Rockies that we wished we had bought a bigger trailer. This year the 03 with a tow package gets it's turn and I know it will put a smile on my face.

What's not listed in my sig is our 04 f150 4x4 shortbed. We call it the little truck. When the snow gets too deep or the 4x4 trail too rough for the Expys we use it. In 8 years as a work truck it has never seen the shop.

BTW, my whole family worked for GM.

I really love the truck that I have now. If I could have found a dual wheel for around the same price I would have but after driving this truck for the last 40,000 miles, I would not trade it for anything. I hope to drive this truck for a long time.

Yes & No. I love my Dodge Cummins Mega, however, I do sometimes miss my longbox on my Ford F-250.

I drove fords for over 40 years and bought a new one every two years for the past 18 years.

I WILL NEVER OWN ANOTHER ONE!!

We now own a 2011 Ram 3500 DRW and the wife has a 2011 Jeep. The Ram is best ride I have EVER owned. Its not a garage queen - it now has close to 20k miles in 7 months. A smile on my face for every mile.
